Go Solo or Squad up to explore a mysterious island, battle monsters, outwit enemy players, and steal arcane Artifacts in an all-out treasure hunt. Loot is persistent — extract it to develop and customize your Renegade with new abilities and cosmetics.

In Hawked players must explore this mysterious island, compete with each other, and battle greedy saurian so called Disciples in an all-out heist for treasure and mystical artifacts. But it’s not just the monsters they’ll have to worry about, other players are gunning for their treasure too. Players will also have to contend with puzzles and traps, hazardous environments, and a variety of other challenges along the way.

In the world of Hawked, the adventurers guild GRAIL has recently made the discovery of a lifetime: X-Isle, a mysterious island that harbors powerful artifacts from a lost civilization. Players must explore X-Isle, a recently-discovered treasure trove filled with loot. However, the nefarious, scaly Disciples have also laid claim to the island, and will not give up their conquest so easily. X-Isle is an enormous dynamic map, with each session challenging players to compete on different parts of the island. Its treasures and Artifacts are hidden in boobytrapped temples and ruins throughout.

Enter the Renegades, treasure-hunting mercenaries with a penchant for plundering. As Renegades, the players will have access to a large collection of weapons and gadgets, battle vicious monsters, outwit enemies, and gun down each other while roaming the island. Players will run, jump, surf, zipline, and soar through an ever-evolving world filled with deadly hazards, lush jungles, and ancient ruins.

Publisher and developer My.Games has now shared their plans for the upcoming year and confirmed the console release to happen in the first quarter of 2024.

Q1 2024 — ISSUE #1: RENEGADES

HAWKED is on track for its full global launch in Q1 2024 on Windows PC (Steam and MY.GAMES Launcher), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S*, and Nvidia GeForce Now. The game will arrive with a Day One Update, preceded by other patches and hotfixes in the run-up to launch. Issue #1: Renegades continues with new storylines and quests, giving players on all platforms the opportunity to properly discover X-Isle and claim rewards from the Renegade Pass.

Ahead of the launch, you can also look forward to a special event to celebrate the Lunar Festival in early February. As Issue #1 progresses, we’ll also continue to finetune HAWKED based on your feedback. One of our developers’ major projects is a complete UI rework, as well as updates to movement and a host of quality-of-life improvements.

Q2 2024 — ISSUE #2

Who or what is VEKTR? Check out the video below for a clue, but for now, we can promise you new weapons to fight with, altered places to visit across X-Isle, and new foes to encounter. 

Issue #2 will also see the introduction of Ranked PvP, a popular request from Renegades looking for a more competitive meta and gameplay. This follows from Contracts, a recent feature introduced in Issue #1. For the collectors, we’re also adding a Codex to track encounters and collectible items.

We’re also targeting even more platforms for Issue #2. Steam Deck compatibility will allow you to take X-Isle on the go, while a release on Epic Games Store and Windows Store will give PC players even more freedom of platform choice.

Q3 2024 — ISSUE #3

X-Isle goes into the Fringe in Issue #3. What does that mean? Pay close attention to Bjorn’s ramblings, and you might learn a thing or two… We’re preparing new storylines, locations, enemies, weapons, and an otherworldly NPC for this weird and wonderful update.

A couple of new features are also on the way: Crafting and the Black Market. Crafting speaks for itself, and we’ll have more details to share as we approach this update. On the other hand, the Black Market will offer a new way to buy highly sought-after items using soft currency (such as Hawks and Wonderium).

Q4 2024 — ISSUE #4

HAWKED will have definitive story arcs known as Books, which will typically collect a few Issues together before we launch a new one. In the case of our first phase, Book One, Issue #4 will be its final chapter ahead of Book Two Issue #1. And it’s set to go out with a major bang! 

Look forward to major storylines, a glimpse at a new world map, the opportunity to wield Fringe Tech, a big limited-time event, and lots more to reveal in the future.

Hawked offers deep character customization. With a huge suite of apparel pieces, hairstyles and colors to visually customize their characters, players can mix-and-match Artifacts, gear, and boosters to create their ultimate treasure hunter and attune their gameplay to their preferred style.

Artifacts can be equipped once found on the island. They offer passive bonuses such as the ability to turn into a bush when crouching or offering a sixth sense for nearby enemies. Hawked currently has 18 types of Artifacts. Players can combine three at the same time, and all Artifacts can be found and upgraded in multiple levels of rarity.

Players can use them along with 16 types of gears such as boomerangs, deployable covers, a scouting falcon, and more, offering a wide range of customization options and gameplay styles. Gears and Artifacts are upgraded using currency gathered from selling and/or dismantling treasure on the Riftwake, the game’s social space. From sneaky assassins, to team focused support, in Hawked players can take their ideal Renegade onto the island.

• Outfox and outgun rival Renegades and Disciples in a race to the top spot! Beat them all to the punch by locating Glyphs, unlocking the Treasury, and extracting valuable Artifacts.

• Players need to solve puzzles and dodge traps to steal treasure, extract them, and escape the island. Reclaimed riches can be used to upgrade gear and abilities, and players can extensively tweak their Renegade with customizable loadouts and abilities. Wield new weapons and equipment like katanas and grappling hooks to specialize in stealth, defense, or lightning fast looting.
