In the year 30XX, humanity is on the verge of extinction. As one of the last survivors, you must form alliances with the robot resistance to defend against the world-dominating Combots. Rescue robot allies, explore their stories, and uncover the fate of the legendary group of bots known as the Banner of the Spark.

In Lynked: Banner Of The Spark you are tasked to lead the fight against the Combots—lethal machines intent on destroying the natural world. Engage in electrifying co-op missions with non-stop hack and slash combat and roguelite progression. Expand your town to unlock and upgrade weapons and abilities between runs, recruit new robotic allies, and build a resistance strong enough to reclaim the future.

Developer FuzzyBot and publisher Dreamhaven announced Lynked: Banner of the Spark's big winter Steam Early Access update is coming in early 2025. As is often the case with game development, this update turned out to be a bit more ambitious than we initially planned! To ensure we can add more features, incorporate community feedback, and deliver a polished experience, the team has decided to move the release date to early 2025.

To make up for the delay, players who log in between December 19, 2024, and January 6, 2025, will receive a special holiday-themed weapon—the Candy Payne Basher!

The arcade-inspired co-op action game will add the following cold-weather content and freezing features next year:

• The weather in town is changing: Snow and rain introduce unique Bitibots hiding in snowdrifts and dry leaf piles. Plus, catch new Gillibots exclusive to chilly or rainy weather!
• A new Unibot arrives in town: Help this mysterious newcomer collect resources to return home! Complete new missions and exchange special tokens for event-exclusive decor, cosmetics, and more.
• New Weapon Core: A fifth elemental attack is on the way, joining Fire, Hack, Corrosion, and Shock. Can you guess what it is?
• New Holiday-themed Weapons: A festive new weapon brand inspired by various holidays is on the way! Stay tuned—we’ll continue to add weapons to this lineup in future updates.
• Get ready for a snowball fight: With snowy weather comes a new favor from Unibot Residents! But be warned—if you throw a snowball at your robot neighbors, they’ll definitely retaliate! Sparks, you might even ignite a town-wide clash!
• Multiplayer Ping System: Highlight specific items—like Armor and Health pickups—along with chests and weapons during combat to guide your friends!
• Updated BuddyOS: We’re adding a new Armory section, similar to the Bot-O-Pedia, that showcases Weapons and Weapon Mods! View the stats and details of all your collected gear in one place.
• Weapons & Mods Filtering: Overwhelmed by all your gear and wish some items could be left out of the rotation during mission runs? No problem! We’re introducing a new system in the Armory that lets you “ban” specific purchases—a feature highly requested by the community!
• A ton of new combat areas: We’re introducing day/night variants and new remixes for mission maps, effectively doubling the playable areas within the current biomes!
• New Character Customization options: We’ve added eight new eyebrow styles to give players even more ways to personalize their characters!
• And, as always, expect more bug fixes, optimization improvements, and more!

• Play solo or join forces with friends: Play combat missions with up to two of your friends where you can take on specialized fighting roles to complement the team as you complete challenging missions and boss battles.
