Arriving in the dream world of Dreamlight Valley, players will embark on an enchanting quest to restore a once-idyllic village now desolate and full of Night Thorns after a mysterious event called The Forgetting.

Uncover the mysterious secrets that led you to this new world and explore diverse realms inspired by classic Disney and Pixar worlds, while helping the iconic inhabitants of the town recover their lost memories.

In this experience, players will meet and build friendships with beloved characters from Mickey & Friends to Disney’s The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Moana to Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story and more. Dive in and immerse in a multitude of unique individualized story arcs and enjoy activities with some of the village’s most memorable characters, such as whipping up a delectable Disney-themed dishes alongside Remy from Disney and Pixar's Ratatouille inside of your own village restaurant, fishing at the fishing hole with Goofy, or growing vegetables from Wall•E's garden patch.  

Players will be able to design the Disney and Pixar villages of their dreams across multiple unique biomes, ranging from the snowy mountains of the Frosted Heights to the Peaceful Meadow and beyond – with a wealth of customization options for their avatars, homes, and villages. The game will feature an ever-evolving list of Disney-princess-inspired ballgowns, Mickey-adorned streetwear, Frozen-inspired antique kitchen designs, and more. 

If you have a soft spot for monsters and laughs, the upcoming Disney Dreamlight Valley free update, “The Laugh Floor,” will tickle your funny bone.

Available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Mac, and Apple Arcade on February 28, this latest update opens a new door inside the Dream Castle that will transport players to the Laugh Floor Realm, taking them on a Monsters, Inc.-inspired adventure.

Starring everyone’s favorite monster duo, Mike Wazowski and Sulley, this update brings all-new Quest lines, a wide array of customization items, a brand-new Star Path, as well as new Premium Shop items and much more! 

Upon entering the Realm, players must put on their most “monstrous” face to gain access to the iconic Laugh Floor and work alongside Mike and Sulley to get different kids to laugh. Along with this Quest, players will be introduced to new avatar customization features, including new fantastical skin tone options in a wide array of colors and textures. With these expanded features, you can tap into your monstrous side by creating your own Sulley- or Mike-inspired avatar by going all-blue, or repping team green—and mix things up further with additional cosmetic options like contact lenses, unique ear styles, and even more face paint choices. 

In keeping with the monstrous theme of this update, the new “Lovely Monsters” Star Path brings beauty and monstrosity to the Valley with unique rewards straight from Monstropolis, romantic and retro decorations, and exciting movie-inspired Dream Styles for Mike and Sulley.  

Players can also look forward to an exciting Premium Shop refresh, including the Snuggly Duckling Tavern House Style, a Boo Onesie, a sushi counter featuring Chef, and more!  

Finally, players can expect continued Disney Dreamlight Valley game improvements in this update. Notably, players can enjoy the long-anticipated improvement to Scrooge McDuck's General Store and the ability to change their player name.
