by Rainier on March 12, 2024 @ 9:14 a.m. PDT

Pioneers Of Pagonia is a city-builder that is all about exploration, discovery, and reuniting the fantastical islands of Pagonia.

In a world of countless islands populated with scattered villages, you travel and lead your people as a visionary to forge alliances with the inhabitants, after helping each other and gaining their trust. Send out your pioneers to discover untouched soil, find hidden resources and explore secret places.

Enjoy the fantastical and inviting world of Pagonia, where your carefully considered decisions cause thousands of bustling inhabitants to satisfy your orders. Every transport of goods, manufacturing process and discovery your people make is comprehensible and presented with lovely animations in this ultimate game world simulation.

Use your creativity to build up your road network and economy, which offers an enormous depth of play with over 40 building types, more than 70 different goods and widely branched production chains. Protect your population from hostile animals, plundering bandits and mythical creatures. Explore the infinite variations of the procedurally generated maps, which offer new challenges every time.

Following the Early Access launch of Pioneers of Pagonia, Envision Entertainment is now back with its first content update in the new year after a Quality-of-Life update.

The Economy Update, which is available immediately, implements several of the most frequent community requests. In Pioneers of Pagonia, players discover the islands of Pagonia and their peaceful and hostile inhabitants as they build their settlements with branching production chains and thousands of units.

At Early Access launch, over 40 different building types and more than 70 different goods with branched production chains were already available. With the Economy Update, the eagerly awaited fishing hut has now been added, the catch of which is processed for the production of comfort and fortifying meals. The community's calls for a large warehouse have also been heard in order to optimize the distribution and transport of goods even more efficiently and conveniently. The large warehouse offers as much space as eight small warehouses and the setting options for each storage location have been expanded to include several options.

Production and unit statistics are also available for the first time, providing a comprehensive and detailed overview of the economic cycle. In addition, there are numerous Quality-of-Life updates such as the significantly expanded zoom function, which have also been continuously patched in recent weeks.

Other game content that will be released in major updates over the coming months includes a shared co-op mode, additional units and buildings, an overhaul of the combat system and many other new features. An updated Early Access Roadmap will be published soon.

Pioneers Of Pagonia is available on Steam Early Access at 29.99 EUR / 29.99 USD / 26.99 GBP in 17 languages.

Key Features:

  • A deep economic system with over 40 buildings and 70 wares, including unique units such as the haven
  • Deep infrastructure mechanics including building roads, store hubs, and organizing long-distance transportation
  • A fabulous medieval game world that differs from many contemporaries
  • An emphasis on unification rather than war, which leads to unique endgame goals
  • Procedurally generated maps, allowing for endless gameplay opportunities

Pioneers Of Pagonia is in development for PC (Steam), scheduled for 2024.
