As a victim you must use your wits and stealth to stay out of the Family's reach and find the tools you need to lead to your eventual freedom. Slaughter Family players must seek out, track down, and stop their guests from escaping. Players of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre can finally find out if they have what it takes to survive.
Experience the mad and macabre for yourself in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
From now until Thursday, March 21st, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will be available for 50% off! And as of yesterday, players can now download a new Outfit pack for Victim character Danny, featuring an array of 70's-inspired fits.
Gun Interactive also confirmed that Virginia, the new Victim character based on none other than horror queen Barbara Crampton, will launch on March 28th—the same day that the new map, the Mill, will be made available.
"Virginia is a grief-stricken mother who cannot get over the disappearance of her son Jesse. She’s obsessive over his vanishing and refuses to believe that he could be gone. The weight of her pain is so immense she leaves behind her nursing career to move to Newt, TX, the last location Jesse was seen..."
From titles such as Re-Animator, You’re Next, and Suitable Flesh, Barbara Crampton has cemented herself as a powerhouse in the genre as both one of horror’s best leading actresses and as a producer. Crampton provided voice-over work for the character, who was also based on her likeness. As a nurse, Virginia has unique abilities that allow her to detect Sissy's flower powder, disorient enemies, and contaminate buckets of blood.
Virginia will be available for all players on March 28th, the same day that the new map, The Mill, goes live. The Mill has a wildly different layout than currently available maps, with more verticality and four distinct levels, including a dry creekbed!
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre features an entirely new soundtrack overseen by composer and lead sound designer Ross Tregenza that channels Wayne Bell’s trailblazing sound design for the 1974 film, as well as an additional album, Remains, featuring music written and performed by Jim Bonney and Gun CEO and President Wes Keltner.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) at $39.99 USD.
