As history is being attacked and altered by evil intruders, players will have to become Time Patrollers in order to protect the Past and the Future of the Dragon Ball world. New and powerful foes coming from Dragon Ball movies (such as Slug, with more to be revealed) will do their best to succeed in their wicked deeds. To fight them, Time Patrollers will gather in a huge new city that is 7 times bigger than “Toki Toki City” from the previous game. Conton City is the name of the new main hub where all players can undertake quests, train at school, enter fights, shop and more. On top of a massive city that will allow for up to 300 simultaneous players, Bandai Namco Entertainment and DIMPS have implemented new exciting features: including that each playable race will have different rewards for their missions.
Last but not least, it has been confirmed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will have a local versus mode with several environments to duke it out in; and that the will run at 60 fps on all platforms, allowing for a smoother experience with highly animated fights.
With the native PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 arriving on May 24, 2024, Bandai Namco Entertainment released a new trailer teasing what the future holds for the action/RPG.
The new DLC will be arriving to all platforms soon, with plenty of twists and turns in store for players at the center of the game’s epic storyline.
For the first time since the original game launched, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will look to the future and the coming of a new age. Fu is naturally at the center of things, and when experiments with super villain energy are involved, things can’t be headed in a good direction.
Players will be able to find out what’s at stake when the DLC releases in the near future!
