33 Immortals invites players to “face the wrath of God” in a “lean, mean distillation of the MMO raid experience” upon its Early Access release on Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC and with Xbox Game Pass for console and PC in 2024. In 33 Immortals, players are damned souls, rebelling against God's final judgment. The game’s quick and seamless matchmaking launches 33 players into punchy co-op roguelike raids, in a radically streamlined re-imagining of the MMO experience Thunder Lotus has dubbed “pick-up and raid”. Players optimize their builds to match their playstyle, mixing and matching weapons, perks, and persistent upgrades to steadily improve their rebellion’s odds of withstanding the wrath of God. Above all, 33 Immortals actively encourages players to collaborate throughout the runs, to ensure that the largest and strongest group possible survives the enemy hordes, and prevails in the showstopping boss fights. 

Developer Thunder Lotus has announced that 33 Immortals' Closed Beta will begin on May 24th, 2024, and run until June 2nd, 2024.

Fans are encouraged to sign up to play the Beta at 33immortals.com, and Beta players will earn a chance to unlock an exclusive skin for the game.

Following a successful Alpha period, the 33 Immortals Closed Beta is the next important step in a development process which has focused on close collaboration with its community as a means to ensure that the game builds upon its strengths through the home stretch of development. The Closed Beta will showcase a wide variety of enemies and environments, as well as a tight focus on the collaboration mechanics at the core of the 33 Immortals experience.

33 Immortals is the debut online multiplayer title for Thunder Lotus, the studio best known for immersive single player experiences like the 2 million unit-selling Spiritfarer. To meet the unique challenges of its first foray into online games, Thunder Lotus expanded its operations to two parallel development teams, with the 33 Immortals dev team being made up of industry veterans well-versed in online multiplayer. The studio is also excited to collaborate with its always-generous community during 33 Immortals’ Beta and Early Access periods, to ensure the game builds upon its strengths through the home stretch of development.
