'Hellbreach: Vegas' Steam Early Access Phase 2 Update Adds Updated Demo, New Map And More - Trailer

by Rainier on April 15, 2024 @ 10:26 a.m. PDT

Hellbreach: Vegas is a wave-based first-person shooter survival game pits individuals and teams of human survivors against a demon army, determined to invade a post-apocalyptic Earth.

Hell has frozen over and the demons are in search of a new home... What better place than Sin City?

Portals have spawned across Las Vegas, and hordes of demons are now between you and safety. Play as a solo survivor or a team of up to four trapped in the city. Shoot your way out of the hellbreach as waves of demon hordes attack.

The difficulty and intensity of enemies increases with each wave, as does the adrenaline and excitement. There is only one way to win - keep wasting demons before they waste you!

Nobody knows where the demons came from. Your mission? Send them all back and stay alive!

How long can you survive?

Iceberg Interactive and Infinity Ape Studios announced that Hellbreach: Vegas launches a fresh demo, a new map, and various other changes as it enters phase 2.

Hellbreach: Vegas launched into Steam Early Access on March 11th, 2024, and since then Ashley Ellis has worked hard to implement the community feedback chasing his mission of making the best possible version of Hellbreach: Vegas.

Phase 1 concludes with a bunch of fixes, a new map, a new weapon, updated character models, new character cosmetics, new weapon cosmetics and plenty of other small changes.

Developer Ashley Ellis and Iceberg Interactive chose to release the game into Early Access to create room to polish the game to players' tastes, finalize maps, and implement community feedback over a span of approx. 6 months. With this update the first phase of 4 is done and keeps them on pace with this promise.

The 'Love’s Last Stand' Update includes:

Content this update:

  • A new map: Vegas Chapel
  • A new weapon: The Crossbow
  • Added new Love’s Last Stand Themed accessories

  • Fixed a problem where players can not properly start the game due to a black screen or lack of control
  • Fixed achievements
  • Reworked Ammo refills: Refilling your ammo refills all your weapons including throwables, the price is dynamic based on what weapons get refilled, the active mag is now also refilled.
  • Various other quality of life improvements - Movement speed enhancements, recoil reduction, toggleable sprint, collision updates, visual improvements, phasing out AI placeholders, added enemy drops, crow variation, improved multiplayer stability, localization issues.

... and of course, a lot of additional bug and exploit fixes

I hope you like the progress so far! See you in the Chapel survivors!

Kind regards,

The Hellbreach Team

Key Features:

  • Each round will be more challenging than the last. Earn enough experience and cash to upgrade your weapons, or unlock other perks and bonuses that will help you to stay alive.
  • Loadout and choose from 23 weapons available in the full release. With a combination of modern and futuristic weapons, you can slay demons in your preferred style! Just make sure that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
  • As long as you’re in sin city, you have to play the slots! Collect skulls for demon slaying and play the Pull-A-Skull Machine, and convert your winnings into MORE winnings at the prize, boost, or weapon slot machines.
  • If you want to hone your skills, try Gun Pro mode to train for accuracy with all weapon types. Gun Pro is also the most promising mode for friendly competitions. Who can race through all the guns first?
