When the Light Dies is out now in Steam Early Access at $4.99 and will remain so for a minimum of five months.

When the Light Dies will receive regular monthly updates for the next 5 months, each update will feature anything from new enemies, weapons, collectable items, passive upgrades, dark magic abilities, and story elements, to twisted end-of-stage bosses.

The first of these updates should go live on 28th May and is planned to contain: 

• A selection of new items to collect and increase your chances of survival.
• A powerful new weapon to unlock and experiment with.
• A second end of stage boss encounter to add an extra level of challenge.
