Envy an NPC's powerful talent or skill? Make it your own! In Soulmask, synchronize your consciousness with the tribesmen as you recruit them to strengthen your tribe. Possess and take over their bodies and transform into anyone. If you can find them in the game, you can possess them!

As the game progresses, discover more masks that embody the spirit of ancient heroes. Play as a lone wolf without feeling lost or lonely with a multitude of different NPCs. With different personalities and talents, you can recruit bloodthirsty warriors, dexterous hunters, and ingenious craftsmen. . . and even a drunk lazy alcoholic!

Powerful AI and command support allows you to set up and manage the work flow of clan members with a high degree of freedom: farming, harvesting, assembly line production, base patrol, automatic repair and even maintenance...everything can be automated and customized by you. Need a light? Smoke a cig or pop open a beer after a busy day. Take a hot bath and soothe those aching muscles. Your tribesmen will always find something of their own to do after work (or even at work -_-). Dance in the cheerful atmosphere of their tribal bonfire dance!

After an incredibly positive response from their community during last week’s public beta with more than 40,000 players playing on the first day, Qooland is happy to announce that Soulmask will launch into Steam Early Access on June 18, 2024. 

Additionally, the open beta has now been extended until May 15th, allowing players even longer to check out the game ahead of launch.

In addition to what was available in the ongoing beta, Early Access will also introduce an array of content for players to experience:

• A staggering 500 hours of gameplay
• Seven maps to explore, including new biomes, such as volcanoes and snow capped mountains
• Brand new world view character generation process
• Improvements to character action and sound effect performance
• Tribesmen AI evolution, to make tribesmen easier to manage
• New private server mode with more than 100 customization functions in stand-alone/online mode for more free game playing experience

The game currently supports offline single player or online multiplayer of up to 70 players on official servers. You may also establish your own LAN host or private server while inviting others to join. On private, non-official servers, customize numerous parameters to tailor the gaming experience to your own preferences so that you and your friends may explore the rich world of Soulmask at your own pace.

The game features 8 weapon types and 75 skills, allowing players to customize their own fighting style. For example, the spear in Soulmask has up to eight specialization skills that can be randomly learned, which can be used as a ranged weapon to pull enemies closer or as a melee weapon to pierce enemies hearts!
