'Bulletstorm VR' Major Update Coming Later This Year, Includes Horde Mode, Upgraded Weapons, Left-handed Mode And More - Trailer

by Rainier on June 26, 2024 @ 3:26 p.m. PDT

Bulletstorm VR brings new furor to first-person shooter action with its signature "kill with skill" gameplay, which is packed with blockbuster moments.

Bulletstorm VR offers an all new way of experiencing  the Bulletstorm universe that’s more immersive than ever!

Bulletstorm VR puts players in the ass-kicking boots of former Dead Echo Squad Leader Grayson Hunt, as he battles his way across the abandoned resort planet of Stygia in glorious VR! Embark on a comically ultraviolent journey as Grayson and his crew try to survive and exact revenge on the corrupt General Sarrano.

Utilize everything from your Flailgun to Bulletstorm’s iconic energy leash to perform creative acts of carnage on your enemies. Effortlessly switch between melee and ranged combat - which now includes dual-wielding guns - to perform an array of unique Skillshots on your adversaries to earn additional experience and boost your abilities. These range from kicking an enemy into a cactus, to impaling them on rebar, to shooting them in the groin. In Bulletstorm VR everything is a weapon, and you’re encouraged to get as creative as possible when racking up your kill count!

People Can Fly and Incuvo S.A. announced an upcoming free major update for fans later this year, which will include a new horde mode, upgraded weapons, new skillshots, an improved energy leash, and the much-requested left-handed mode.

The latest ‘We fixed our s#!t’ trailer highlights that Bulletstorm VR did not launch in January at the expected quality level that players or People Can Fly wanted before showcasing the improvements Incuvo has made over its three post-release patches and promises a free major update later this year that will bring the biggest and best version of Bulletstorm VR’s bloody action-packed experience.

“I'm excited to reveal that we’re investing heavily in bringing the biggest and best version of Bulletstorm VR to PICO and existing platforms with a brand new 'Horde Mode.' Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping VR experience like never before!” said Dmitry Muratov, VR Senior Publishing Producer at People Can Fly.

"I am thrilled to collaborate with our talented development team to introduce exciting new features and enhance the overall core experience of Bulletstorm VR,” said Honorata Najda-Szajewska, Senior Producer at Incuvo. “We are dedicated to delivering an exceptional gaming experience that will captivate players and elevate our game to new heights."

Bulletstorm VR will also launch on the PICO platform alongside this newly announced major update scheduled for later this year.

Key Features:
