Set in a richly detailed parallel reality, Dhalman is a unique combination of a retro-styled "Metroidvania" and a restaurant simulator. that invites players to embark on a thrilling journey where skill, strategy, and storytelling collide.

Set in India (with other locales from around the globe), the game will be full of action, fun, music, and even dancing!

Join Dhalman as he ventures across the world fighting numerous bosses to collect special spices. He can also earn extra money by partaking in fighting tournaments. Face fierce opponents ranging like the four-armed elephantine Ganesha, Chinese martial artist Mei-Ling, psychic shadow cadet Emilio, electric wild child Little Spark, and the wise Master Jiro. Need extra cash? Dhalman can always engage in street fighting tournaments to fund his family’s business!

Dhalman is a labor of love from some of Capcom’s greatest artists, including Satoru Yamashita, who did pixel art and logo designs on Street Fighter 2 and Final Fight, as well as illustrations and cover art for Ghosts 'n Goblins. Acclaimed Mega Man composer Akari Kaida will also be contributing to Dhalman, making all new original music for the game.

The Dhalman Kickstarter campaign has launched today, looking to raise $502,594.

“We saw how excited people got for other Kickstarters for spiritual successors to 90s classics, like Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and Eiyuden, so we wanted to create our own throwback to Capcom’s illustrious back catalog and Satoru Yamashita was interested in revisiting this kind of colorful, family friendly gaming that inspired us so much growing up,” said Tatsuya Nishioka, CEO at Minnapad. “We also got Mega Man composer Akari Kaida to work on the soundtrack, ensuring that Dhalman will feel like a long lost classic!”

“Dhalman came from my travel experiences and watching travel videos on YouTube,” said artist Satoru Yamashita. “I'm currently keen on India, with its friendly people, cows walking on the streets, loud noises, ancient ruins, and vibrant dances. I thought it would be great to capture the intense aspects of India in visuals.”
