Chivalry II is a multiplayer first-person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles where players experience the thrill of combat in massive 64-player battlefields.

Chivalry II is a multiplayer first-person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles. Players are thrust into the action of every iconic moment of the era –from clashing swords, to storms of flaming arrows, sprawling castle sieges, and more. Dominate massive battlefields while catapults tear the earth apart as players lay siege to castles, set fire to villages, and slaughter filthy peasants in the return of Team Objective maps.

Improving on the original genre-defining Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Chivalry II invites players to master the blade with an all-new and improved combat system that combines real-time strikes and a free-flowing combo system to speed up the action and let players become a whirlwind of steel on the battlefield.

Created with the ability to fight multiple foes in mind, Chivalry II's combat mixes the best of both FPS and fighting game genres for an unmatched melee experience.

Knights,

We’ve cherished the epic journey that we’ve taken with all of you over the past few years.

With Chivalry 2, we set out to make the ultimate medieval battlefield game: an unparalleled multiplayer experience that realized our dream of being a warrior on the fields of battle, inspired by classic medieval movie scenes and old tales of glory from history.

When the game launched, we pledged to at least double the size of Chivalry 2 post-launch by adding new maps, modes, weapons, features, and experiences to ensure we had delivered a strong and lasting vision of the ultimate medieval battlefield game.

We’ve chronicled all of our post-launch support at chivalry2.com/roadmap and feel that, after over three years of support, we have more than accomplished our goal by significantly increasing the game’s content, features, and quality beyond the initial target.

In March, we released Duel of the Fêtes, the 10th major content update for Chivalry 2, which added requested features like Unofficial Servers and Skill Based Team Balance alongside new maps, cosmetics, and more.

Over the course of the game’s schedule of updates, we’re proud to have brought players an array of content and features since the game launched, including a massive boost to the number of Team Objective maps (increasing the count from 5 to 13), adding mounted combat, a Last Team Standing mode as well as new rotating modes like Brawl and Mounted Arena, the Tenosian faction, hundreds of new armory items, 8 new weapons, major new progression features, and much, much more.

As the game's 11th and final content piece, released in May, the Regicide Update revealed to players the narrative conclusion of Chivalry 2’s war between Argon II and Malric. This update included one of our proudest creations to date, the cinematic Team Objective map “Citadel” - which pits the two kings against each other for a final duel that makes a fitting end to an epic saga.

With the Regicide Update we consider the game to be content and feature complete.

Though every story comes to an end, we know many players will be disappointed by the news - but this isn’t the end for the Chivalry franchise.

With this final content update delivered to players, we’re excited to focus our efforts and resources on compelling new multiplayer projects, both in the Chivalry universe as well as within terrifying new co-op territory. We’ve been building our team in number and skillset to take on these following challenges, with a focused effort to ensure that when the next Chivalry title is released, it will utterly blow players away.

This isn’t the end for Chivalry 2, either—the game will continue to be supported for maintenance of any critical issues affecting the player base. Online services like official servers, unofficial servers, and matchmaking will continue to be available to players.

We want to thank our incredible community of players for helping to make Chivalry 2 the success that it’s been. We’ll see you on the battlefield!

  • Epic Medieval Environments: Sprawling medieval environments ranging from tournament grounds to epic full-scale castle sieges.
  • Massive Scale: Experience the chaos of epic medieval battlefields and battle through mass-scale combat meant to capture the intensity and scope of "The Battle of the Bastards" from Game of Thrones.
  • Choose your Fighting Style: Your arsenal expands with the new subclass system that provides more variety than ever before. Four base classes expand to various subclasses, an arsenal of unique weapons each with multiple visual variants, and new support items ranging from oil pots to barricades, supply crates and archer's stakes.

  • Refuse to Die: Keep fighting after losing a limb, being knocked down, disarmed, set on fire, filled with arrows, your shield broken, smothered in blood and still throwing punches from your knees. Bandages, revives and the new downed state allow you to support teammates and stay in the action until you've bled your last drop.

Chivalry II is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam/Epic Games Store) with cross-play support for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99.
