First Berserker: Khazan is an upcoming single-player action RPG from the cutthroat universe of Dungeon & Fighter (DNF).

Known for its dynamic, anime art style and distinct combat system, the DNF series combines the fast-paced, high-energy action of old-school brawlers with classic RPG elements, and has earned a loyal global fanbase. The reveal trailer introduced audiences to the story of Khazan, an exiled general armed with hardcore hack and slash skills that players can develop and customize to take full control of their gameplay experience

The Pell Los Empire has been saved – at a cost. After the Great General Khazan and Archmage Ozma defeat the Berserk Dragon Hismar and the Dragon Legion, players will step into the shoes of Khazan as he is falsely accused of treason and exiled beyond the empire. In this hardcore action RPG, thrilling combat takes center stage with every step of Khazan’s quest for vengeance against those who orchestrated his downfall, marked by intense, aggressive and ever-changing styles of battle.

NEXON and Neople released a brand-new cinematic and gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan at gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL); revealing that the game will be launching in early 2025.

Neople is giving players an opportunity to get their hands on early gameplay at the gamescom 2024 show floor and broader through a Technical Closed Beta Test (sign up here) happening via PS5 and Xbox Series X|S starting on October 11, 2024.

The trailer focuses on the title’s intense battle scenes and storyline, allowing players to immerse themselves in the past of Khazan. Players can enjoy various boss fights with formidable foes such as Blade Phantom, and engage in a unique atmosphere represented by 3D cel animated graphics. Experience diverse mechanics and various patterns with the newly revealed Spear and Greatsword. Those interested in learning more about Khazan can jump into the first-ever public hands-on during gamescom from August 21 to August 25 located at 9.1 Hall B-029. 

During their hands-on time, players will get to experience a variety of features for The First Berserker: Khazan, including:

• A Compelling Story – As the forgotten hero, players will reclaim battle-hardened skills forged in fierce combat, seeking vengeance against those who defame and oppose them.

Additionally, those who will not be attending gamescom still have a chance to participate in the first Technical Closed Beta playtest for The First Berserker: Khazan from October 11 to October 20.
