It can be used in multiple ways: To create slippery surfaces that players can use to surf around the arena at high speed; to build terrain, helping players defend from enemy attacks or creating high vantage points to take out opponents; and finally, to foam up the opposition and win the match.

Foamstars, currently available on PS5 and PlayStation 4, will change from its current regional pricing to a free-to-play title starting from October 4th 2024 at 1:00AM.

In addition, while previously a subscription to PlayStation Plus was required to play Foamstars, after the price change, consumers who are not subscribed to PlayStation Plus may download and play Foamstars for free.

For those who have downloaded Foamstars before this change in price, we are planning to distribute a free “Legacy Gift” that includes these exclusive in-game items:

• 12 exclusive color-variant Bubble Beastie skins
• 1 exclusive Slide Board design
• 1 title: “Legacy”

We will provide details regarding the “Legacy Gift,” such as how to obtain it, on our official website and official X account.

Leading up to the free-to-play launch, players can enjoy the seventh season for Foamstars, GOLDEN BEATS, which brings festive fun from today until October 3.

In GOLDEN BEATS, players can look forward to the debut of new Foamstar, Bublo, and two new seasonal events including RANKED PARTY where players compete to climb the ladder of one of the seven ranked modes with teams or solo and EXTREME PARTY which features multiple events, all with special rules!

With a GOLDEN BEATS Season Pass, players will receive Bublo, as well as the Ramzey foam gun skin, and the Coiff Guy character skin for free. Players can also obtain XP by completing battles, missions, and Weekly Challenges to advance through the season tiers and earn various rewards such as additional skins and items. Players who purchase a Premium Season Pass, which is available for $5.99, will unlock even more rewards as all rewards up to each player’s current tier will be unlocked immediately.

Foamstars is available for PS4 and PS5.
