Howdy cowpoke! You have inherited Wild Indigo Ranch from your uncle, and a new life awaits you in the West! But the frontier isn’t always as idyllic as you hear in the stories. Grit Corp has sinister plans for turning the prairie into a profit-making machine. Work together with the townsfolk of nearby Tumbleville to right wrongs and restore Wild Indigo Ranch to its former glory.

For a prudent cowboy, resources need not be scarce on the prairie. Gather straw to craft a rope - now you can lasso your first Mustang, though you might want to start slow and catch Rosie the Donkey. A real buckaroo needs a six-shooter to serve justice and defend themself from local wildlife. If only you knew how to make one.

A cowpoke like you need a place to hang up your spurs after a long day of adventure. Pull up your sleeves, grab your tools, and get to work building the ranch of your dreams. Grow crops and farm the land, outfit your farm with stables, coops, and workshops. Finally, furnish and decorate your new home to your liking - home is where the hearth is.

Play as a lone ranger or team up with up to 3 friends. Work together to gather resources, build the finest ranch in the West, and ride together into the sunset.

Danish developer Funday Games, known for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, are proud to reveal the new name, direction and September 18th release date for Wild Indigo Ranch.

Launched into Early Access in November 2023 as ‘Don’t Die in the West’, the game drops players into the cowboy fantasy — tasked with building the rootin’est tootin’est ranch in the west.

Following community feedback, Funday Games have repositioned the title away from the harsh brutality of posses and gunslingers towards the wholesome retreat of building, wrangling and ranching.

Key Features:

• Build Your Ranch - Construct buildings, reclaim the farmland and customise your very own settlement. Craft tools and weapons to get better materials, and venture out into the unknown to find resources to expand your legend.
• Craft & Upgrade - Scour the prairies and barren lands of the wild west in search of materials to upgrade tools and weapons and reinforce the homestead. Players will need to use everything at your disposal to wrangle your first mustang and defend yourself from the wildlife.
• Ride Into the Sunset - There is a whole frontier to explore with up to three friends. Co-op cowpokes can scour the lands to gather resources, secrets and stories as they explore the far reaches of Tumbleville. Just make sure you keep that big iron on your hip…

Currently available through Steam Early Access, Wild Indigo Ranch is coming to PC (Steam) on September 18, 2024.
