Play together. Stand alone.
Splitgate 2 offers players three factions to choose from and each is represented in today’s video. Each faction comes with its own distinct abilities, with each suiting a different, varied playstyle - fans are encouraged to mix and match factions on their teams to maximize strengths and to counter the opposing team’s choices.
The video first introduces the Aeros faction: Aeros’s fast-action and Rush ability allows for sick kills via slick movement - while master portal skills are used to control an area. Traditional Splitgate fans who love to be in the middle of the action will be right at home aligning with Aeros.
Meridian’s Hypersight and Time Dome mechanics give a huge boost to support class players, arming them with the ability to assist the whole team. Built for the ultimate utility player who rounds out their matches by helping, healing and scoring.
Sabrask’s militaristic origins have made them into the toughest Aces in Sol. The Sabrask Smart Wall is truly advantageous in a head-to-head gun fight and combined with a few perfectly thrown grenades, this faction can have powerful offensive potential in controlling an area.
