'Delta Force' Reveals 2025 Content Roadmap, Shows Off Warfare Mode Maps - Trailer

by Rainier on Jan. 13, 2025 @ 7:00 a.m. PST

With a campaign based on Black Hawk Down, Delta Force is a cross-platform tactical shooter where you'll play the role of an Operator tasked with accomplishing extreme missions through precise tactical planning and application.

Delta Force will feature a storyline with realistic themes, employed real-life actors for character building, utilized photogrammetry for 3D world creation, captured tactical movements from military professionals, and sought guidance from former Special Forces personnel to ensure an authentic tone of resolute realism and professionalism within the military theme.

Gameplay will feature a strong dose of tactical combat in each mode, as players will select from four Operator classes at launch. Choose from the dominant firepower of the Assault class, showcase your superior tactics with the Engineer class, heal teammates and keep your team fighting on as a Support class or create havoc through the element of surprise as Recon class.

The game's campaign mode is based on Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down movie, where players will be able to experience authentic and thrilling battles from the celebrated movie.

Delta Force developer Team Jade revealed their plans for continuing content updates coming to the game in 2025, as well as gave an update on the release of the mobile version of Delta Force.

Delta Force has a bold plan for bringing its players fresh new content in 2025, including five new operators, seven new maps, new gadgets, new vehicles and more more.

For a full breakdown, check out the 2025 Roadmap image below.

Team Jade also provided an update on the release windows for the much anticipated mobile version of the game. In a message to Delta Force Players by Game Director Shadow Guo (the full text of which can be found below), the team is committed to delivering the top tier experience that players deserve, and to do that means moving the release of the mobile version to the Summer of 2025.

We look forward to sharing more when these seasons will be dropping in the game soon.

A Message from Game Director Shadow

Hey Operators,

I hope you’ve had a fantastic holiday season and are ready for an amazing 2025. We’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead, and I wanted to take a moment to share some updates about Delta Force and our plans for the year.

2025 is going to be BIG for Delta Force, as we prepare to roll out a wealth of exciting new content and improvements throughout the year. A total of five new Operators will join the roster, along with at least seven new maps to provide even more variety, while existing maps will receive significant updates and improvements. Additionally, players can look forward to new weapons, vehicles, and other cool features.

No matter how you slice it, Delta Force is - and will continue to be - a very ambitious project. This leads us to some news regarding the release of our game on mobile systems. After carefully reviewing our production pipeline, we’ve decided that the current release schedule for the mobile version won’t allow us to deliver the top-tier experience you deserve - the mobile version will now launch in Summer 2025. The game is already running very well on mobile systems, but we want to take the extra time to ensure it runs smoothly across a wide range of devices.

We know many of you have been eagerly awaiting this version of the game, and we sincerely apologize for the delay. This decision wasn’t made lightly, but we firmly believe it’s the right choice to deliver the best possible experience for all players.

We’re truly grateful for your patience and understanding, and we couldn’t ask for a better community to share this journey with. Thank you for being with us as we kick off an exciting new year for Delta Force.

Game Director,

Shadow

Delta Force: Hawk Ops intends to launch with three exciting, distinct game modes:

  • Large-Scale PvP Mode - Havoc Warfare: Compete as part of a large team and take the fight to the enemy as you battle across massive maps featuring authentic terrain and including a range of military vehicles, tanks and aircraft.
  • Extraction Mode - Hazard Operations: Squad up and take on rival teams and marauding AI-controlled mercenaries and Royal Guards in Hazard Operations, the most tactical take on the popular extraction genre to date. Random events across huge maps will keep players on their toes, while challenging PvE-focused missions can be completed for valuable loot.
  • Campaign Mode - Black Hawk Down: An exciting recreation of the classic Delta Force campaign mode sees a return to Mogadishu to participate in the events of the 2001 Black Hawk Down movie. Featuring both characters and likenesses from the film, while also serving as an officially licensed remaster of the original Delta Force: Black Hawk Down video game.

Delta Force will be free-to-play with cross-play support on PlayStation, Xbox, PC (Steam / Epic Games Store) in Q1 2025, followed by mobile in Summer 2025.
