Project Motor Racing will hit the track in fall 2025 with 70+ vehicles from 10 racing classes and 27 track layouts.
From today’s radical LMDh hypercars to iconic legends from motorsport’s rich legacy, each car is meticulously recreated and licensed from the world’s top car manufacturers like Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Audi.
Each class has been curated to ensure definitive grids of motor racing heroes from today and yesterday, from LMP to turn-of-the-century GTs, from today’s GT3s to 1970s sportscars. With action packed 4-class racing across 27 scanned, global tracks, Project Motor Racing is a motorsport-first simulation.
From sim racers to first-time racers, Project Motor Racing boasts game modes for everyone: from Single Player Career Mode to in-depth Online Racing, from fun leaderboards to packed Full Race Weekends.
An immersive racing experience will put drivers into the cauldron of a racing cockpit with visible G forces, heat-haze, braking forces, and dirt, alongside sound design that captures motor racing’s true ferocity. “True2Track” will allow racers to experience the authenticity of every track with dynamic weather conditions, adaptive racing & drying line, and a 24-hour day/night cycle.
Published by GIANTS Software and developed by Straight4 Studios, Project Motor Racing arrives at Sim Racing Expo today with major new additions: Playable in multiplayer, new classes, 7 cars, the legendary Daytona road course, and the public debut of the studio’s True2Track dynamic-surface system.
Classes & Cars
Joining the previously announced LMDh, GT3, GT4, MX-5 Trophy, GT, LMP, Group C, Sports Car ’70, N-GT, and GT1, PMR adds IMSA GTO with the following confirmed cars:
Also joining PMR is the 964 Trophy class, featuring the original Porsche Supercup car, the 1990 Porsche Carrera Cup (964). In LMDh and prototype eras, new cars include:
- Roush Mercury Cougar XR-7
- Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IMSA GTO
- Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO
- Mazda RX-7
- 2023 Toyota GR010 Hybrid (LMDh)
- 2023 Acura ARX-06 (LMDh)
- 2002 Cadillac Northstar LMP-02 (LMP)
- 1989 Mercedes-Benz Sauber C9 (Group C)
Dynamic Tracks and Daytona International Speedway (Road Course)
The track fights back with True2Track that mirrors real-world racing down to the very last marble.
The new trailer showcases True2Track, PMR’s primarily GPU-driven surface model that evolves lap-by-lap:
- Weather & time: full day–night transitions, realistic puddle formation, drainage, and drying lines.
- Grip evolution: rubber builds on the racing line; overheated lines can go slick in high temps.
- Marbles: tyres shed under load; off-line pickup and reduced grip make overtakes authentic.
- Performance: primarily GPU-accelerated to minimize CPU impact and reduce load times.
Daytona — the home of North America’s season-opening 24-hour classic — joins the launch roster, for a total of 18 global locations and 28 scanned layouts at launch.
Multiplayer Playable at Sim Racing Expo
Project Motor Racing is playable on the show floor at the Sim Racing Expo in Dortmund, Germany, from October 17–19. For the first time ever, the sim will feature its multiplayer game mode. Stage shows include competitions like “Beat a Developer” and a special one-off event with Ben Collins (former “Stig”) and Nürburgring personality Misha Charoudin who will also reveal the final car class coming to PMR.
Project Motor Racing will also feature sim racing’s newest physics engine, built from the ground up. Running on the GIANTS game engine, it delivers unmatched handling realism at 720Hz, with more natural, non-linear throttle control alongside precise FFB taken directly from the tie rod, and out-of-the-box peripheral optimisation.
And with the “Factory Driver Program”, every car’s handling is painstakingly tested and approved by the world’s top racing pros to assure authentic handling precision.
Pre-orders are available now on selected channels – including the bonus GTE Decade Pack that features 7 extreme examples of high-performance cars racing in one of the most thrilling and competitive classes in GT racing history.
Project Motor Racing is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 25, 2025.
