You are a Contractor, a hardened veteran hired for a classified operation on a mysterious island at the edge of the world. Your mission is to recover top-secret technology from an abandoned research facility. But there’s a catch: the island is trapped in a time loop, consumed by a supernatural phenomenon known as the Anomaly. Extract artifacts, research your findings, and uncover the truth behind the black-budget initiative, SAPIENS.

In between missions, you’ll expand your personal Base, craft new equipment, and improve your character’s skills and proficiencies. Prepare to face PvPvE threats in an environment that grows more unpredictable with every loop – and the longer you stay, the harder it is to make it out alive.

RAFTON, Inc. announced that developer PUBG Studios will conduct a Closed Alpha Test for PUBG: Black Budget in December 2025.

The test will be available for PC (Steam) players across North America, Europe, and Asia with support for English, Korean, Russian, and Chinese languages.

This marks a development checkpoint for PUBG Studios’ new tactical extraction shooter, designed to gather valuable feedback from creators and the community on key gameplay elements, which would be a crucial step in shaping what’s to come.

The Closed Alpha Test will take place exclusively on PC (Steam) and will consist of two public test sessions:

• Week 1: 12/12(Fri) 01:00 ~ 12/14(Sun) 23:59 PST
• Week 2: 12/19(Fri) 01:00 ~ 12/21(Sun) 23:59 PST
• Regions: North America, Europe, and Asia
• Supported Languages: English, Korean, Chinese, Russian
• Mode: FPP only

Players can sign up for access via the game’s Steam store page.

Those who participate in the test will be able to freely stream, capture, and share gameplay content throughout the testing period. Players can also earn access keys through Twitch Drops during the event. This open format is designed to encourage community feedback and engagement, helping PUBG Studios refine gameplay systems and performance ahead of future testing phases.
