Together with Comcast and Rogers, Amazon today announced the launch of the all-new Amazon Luna cloud gaming service on millions of TV and streaming devices across North America. Starting today, Amazon Luna is available today on eligible* X1 and Xfinity Xumo Stream Box devices in the U.S., and Rogers customers in Canada can also enjoy Luna on the Rogers Xfinity Stream Box.
This collaboration enables Xfinity and Rogers Xfinity customers to easily play incredible games directly alongside their favorite entertainment. Among the games they can enjoy as part of Prime membership are Hogwarts Legacy and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, along with accessible, family friendly titles like Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg and The Jackbox Party Pack 9.
Completely redesigned and reimagined for players of all interest and experience levels, Amazon Luna makes it even easier for anyone to play high-quality games on the devices they already own, with no need to purchase new gaming consoles or equipment. Prime members can play more than 50 games on Luna at no additional cost. This includes the new GameNight collection of approachable local multiplayer games designed to bring friends and family together in the living room, with players requiring only their mobile phones to join in on the fun.
This collaboration with Comcast and Rogers marks another step forward as Amazon Luna aims to deliver high-quality gaming experiences to more people, enabling ease of access and choice across a broader array of devices.
“By bringing Luna to our entertainment devices, we’re giving our customers a simple way to turn their living rooms into game-ready spaces for the whole family,” said Fraser Stirling, Global Chief Product Officer, Comcast. “Gaming is one of the most popular and immersive forms of entertainment today, and the addition of Luna enhances our platform to better serve this growing audience.”
“With Amazon Luna, Rogers Xfinity Streaming customers can now game, stream and catch their favorite shows and movies all in one place,” said Bret Leech, President, Residential, Rogers. “The addition of Luna brings console-quality games like Fortnite or Hogwarts Legacy to our world-class entertainment platform, all powered by Canada’s most reliable internet.”
To access Amazon Luna on these new devices, customers can simply say “Luna” into their voice remote and sign in with an Amazon account. Customers can start playing with a Prime membership, a Luna Premium subscription, or they can purchase individual games outright.
“At Amazon, we’re focused on making gaming more accessible for our customers, and this collaboration with Comcast allows us to reach more customers across the U.S.,” said Jeff Gattis, General Manager, Amazon Luna. “Comcast’s reach and versatility makes it a great fit as we continue to scale Amazon Luna and its growing content library across more devices, more homes, and more players.”
Amazon Luna is available on a growing list of supported devices, including Amazon Fire TV and Fire Tablet devices, select Samsung and LG smart TVs, eligible Xfinity devices, Rogers Xfinity Stream Box, mobile devices (iOS and Android), and Windows PCs, MacBooks, and Chromebooks.
Home entertainment doesn’t stop with Amazon Luna. Prime members also enjoy access to Prime Video, a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming and access to must-see live sports including Thursday Night Football and NBA on Prime; ad-free listening of 100 million songs and millions of podcast episodes with Amazon Music; and unlimited photo storage with Amazon Photos.
Not a Prime member yet? In the U.S., anyone can join Prime for $14.99 per month, or $139 per year if you pay annually. Amazon ensures Prime is accessible to everyone by offering discounted memberships. 18-24-year-olds and higher-education students can try Prime with a six-month $0 trial if eligible at amazon.com/youngadult. Qualifying government assistance recipients and income-verified customers can try Prime Access for 30 days and then pay $6.99 per month at amazon.com/getprimeaccess.

Amazon also offers special rates for young adults (ages 19-24) and students enrolled in university, college, or CEGEP programs, who can start with a six-month trial before transitioning to a reduced rate of just $4.99 monthly or $49 yearly.
