'Signs Of Danger' Is A 2D Action/Roguelite With Extraction Elements Coming To PC, Demo In 2026 - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Dec. 11, 2025 @ 1:41 p.m. PST

Signs of Danger is a falling-sand-physics action-roguelite with built-in online and couch co-op multiplayer.

Drop onto dangerously reactive alien planets where every pixel is physically simulated. Craft wild guns and abilities that melt, burn, freeze and blow up hostile creatures or destroy entire levels - solo or with up to three friends in chaotic 4-player online and couch co-op.

Team Up, then Blow Their Worlds Up

Fight through fully reactive pixel-physics alien worlds where everything burns, melts, shocks, and explodes.
Built for solo play or up to four-player online and couch co-op, so every disaster can be shared.

Per-pixel physics chaos meets multiplayer mayhem, turning every chain reaction into a shared disaster. Cascading explosions, melting terrain, volatile liquids, and unstable elements are now things you can unleash with friends - or onto them.

You are Convict Marines sent to unstable alien planets full of forbidden technology and dangerous relics - relics that the Imperial Empire insists do not exist. Redeem your honor by surviving your sentence and extracting with the relics - and try not to vaporize your squad.

Every world reacts at the pixel level. Fire spreads, liquids flow, electricity jumps, unstable chemicals explode, and exotic matter behaves unpredictably. One poorly-aimed shot can trigger a chain reaction that engulfs half the level.

Play solo or with up to three friends in seamless 4-player drop-in-drop-out online and couch co-op. Expect chaos: friendly fire, fast respawns, and even faster "accidents".

A playable PC demo will be coming to Steam in 2026.

Decipher the Signs of Danger

Scavenge for alien Signs. Use that forbidden tech to craft, mutate, and overload your weapons and abilities. Experiment until you create game-breaking combos that should never be allowed in the hands of any marine.

Build a shotgun that fires homing teleporting missiles. Dash through walls to liquefy enemies. Detonate a small personal nuke when you die. Release swarms of suicidal drones every time you take a hit. The right Signs will turn you into a one-person disaster zone.

But be warned: Signs behave differently depending on how they are combined with your weaponry. Careless experimentation can erase you, your squad, or the entire level. The line between godhood and catastrophe is very thin.
