Over the last few weeks, Fortnite players have been exploring The Game Awards Vote in Fortnite, a hub world featuring 10 innovative creator-made islands, and casting their votes for the Best Fortnite Island of 2025.

But there was something lurking in the depths of the island.

Hidden underground were four ancient nodes waiting to be awakened.

As players completed various challenges, they charged a colossal portal projector at the Island's heart.

With enough power, the projector came to life during a special global in-game event earlier today and revealed a silhouette of Lara Croft.
