Humble Games revealed Wizard of Legend 2, the follow-up to one of its most popular games to date, and announced that it will be the second wholly owned franchise for the company following last year’s announcement of Monaco II.

Wield familiar and new Arcana, experiment with devious new spell combinations, and seek immortality as you return again and again (and again) to master ever-changing rogue-lite challenges of the Chalice.

Developer Dead Mage and publisher Humble Games are excited to bring 4-player co-op to Wizard of Legend 2, currently available through Steam Early Access.

Now, players can enjoy the magical fun of this exciting sequel with up to three more friends, in local co-op or online.

Whether you’re playing with friends or as a lone soldier, err, wizard, the excitement and challenge of the trails await. Though every initiate has the chance to claim the coveted Wizard of Legend title, some will encounter failure. However, there is some success to be found in failure thanks to the game’s persistent rogue-lite progression system. Players can return to the hub to make changes to their build for a fresh new experience in the trials. The same goes for your co-op party teammates, who can select their own Arcana, relics, and contracts; coordinate with teammates to delve even further into the trials.

To mark the occasion, Wizard of Legend 2 is participating in the upcoming Steam Couch Co-Op Fest beginning February 10th and running through February 17th. Picking up the game will give players the chance to play through the already-expansive offering of mystical content in Wizard of Legend 2, including the Sky Citadel update that launched in December, which added a whole new environment to play through, additional enemies and bosses, the Dash Arcana, and more.
