Splitgate 2 developer and publisher 1047 Games onboarded Sotaro “Tajeen” Tojima, a lauded designer with key credits across the Halo and Metal Gear Solid series, for the role of audio director on Splitgate 2.

Tojima joining 1047 Games advances the studio’s mission to deliver the best FPS action in the world, bolstered by innovative portal-hopping firefights.

Tojima’s storied, 25-year career includes his role as audio director on Halo 4, Halo 5 and Halo Infinite at 343 Industries, shaping the soundscapes of one of the most celebrated and influential FPS series ever created. During his time at Kojima Productions, Tojima served as audio director for Metal Gear Solid 4 and contributed as a sound designer to Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.

Tojima now leverages his immense expertise to deliver an immersive, best-in-class experience with Splitgate 2, ensuring every action players make delivers satisfying feedback and draws players into Splitgate 2’s futuristic world. Tojima’s ability to enhance action by blending music, environmental audio and dynamic sound effects will complement every element of Splitgate 2’s gameplay.
