Brian Gibson (composer and artist for Thumper and bassist for the band Lightning Bolt) and Mike Mandel (Fuser, Rock Band VR, Fantasia: Music Evolved) have joined forces to create a new game, Thrasher.

Use fast-paced gestural controls to evolve your space eel from worm to mega beast in a breakneck race for survival that begins at the dawn of time.

Developer Puddle has announced that Thrasher is coming to Steam (and Steam Deck) as a flatscreen game alongside PCVR later this year.

Adapted from the VR release, Thrasher has been reworked to capture the magic of the VR version but shine on traditional platforms. Swoop around the space eel with a thumbstick or your mouse and thrash through the chaos with the help of a new dash ability. The visuals have also been upgraded, taking advantage of the power of PCs.
