'Forza Motorsport' To Celebrate 20 Years of Forza Motorsport With Fujimi Kaido Track In May Content Update

by Rainier on March 24, 2025 @ 2:15 p.m. PDT

The new Forza Motorsport is a reimagining of the series, immersing you in the spectacle of racing like you’ve never seen before.

Forza Motorsport is a follow-up to 2017’s authentic racing game Forza Motorsport 7.

Every track in Forza Motorsport has been built from the ground up for this generation, while the accuracy of our overhauled physics, the beauty of our cars and tracks, our new dynamic time of day, advanced car damage, and real time ray tracing on track lead to a generational leap in immersion.

Fundamental to Forza Motorsport is the fully dynamic time of day system, which brings tracks to life in stunning detail and like weather, it will be available on every track. Changes in time of day alter ambient temperatures, which, in turn, impacts the track surface temperatures. These track temperature changes will affect the grip of your car, as does rubbering in and weather. These new simulation details add further depth, drama, and dynamics to the racing experience.

The core driving experience has been completely overhauled to take advantage of the power of the Xbox Series consoles. This includes a 48 times improvement in the fidelity of our physics simulation. Based on your feedback, we’ve introduced new features like tire and fuel management, multiple tire compounds, and new in-depth car building to create the ultimate racing playset. This is all brought to life at the trackside pits, where advanced materials and shaders paired with ray tracing bring out incredible detail in the gold heat wrap, anodized aluminum, and carbon fiber. Ray tracing especially shines on engine bays with their complex self-reflection.

Fujimi Kaido makes its long-awaited return to Forza Motorsport this May in celebration of our 20-year anniversary.

Where Dreams Are Driven

It’s almost 20 years since the release of the first Forza Motorsport game. This moment was the beginning of a multi-decade journey to turn car lovers into gamers, and gamers into car lovers, one that would eventually lead us to the vibrant community we have today – a community driven by car passion, racing skills, competition and creativity.

Over the years that followed our debut game in 2005, we continued exploring our vision of creating innovative and immersive automotive experiences with the release of Forza Motorsport 2, 3, and 4 on Xbox 360; Forza Motorsport 5, 6, and 7 on Xbox One, and most recently, Forza Motorsport on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

With less than two months until the 20th anniversary, today we are excited to share with you a preview of the content that will be available in Forza Motorsport as part of our May update, which includes the eagerly awaited return of a track considered truly legendary in the Forza community.

Since the release of Forza Motorsport in October 2023, our team has been fully recreating Fujimi Kaido to modern standards in our biggest track project ever! Race and drift on the Full Circuit or Full Circuit Reverse that stretches 10.24 miles (16.5 km) in length featuring 144 extreme turns and a 2,711-foot (826 meters) summit.

Our goal is to recapture the magic of drifting with your friends on the massive stretches of serpentine Japanese mountain roads at Fujimi Kaido, and we can’t wait for you to slide sideways once again as we now work to refine and polish this Forza original track for integration into the game this May.

Fujimi Kaido is only the start of our upcoming anniversary content in Forza Motorsport. There are also some highly requested cars coming to the game, in addition to unlockable driver suits, special events in both Career and Featured Multiplayer, new themed Rivals challenges, and more.

We will have more to share about the Forza Motorsport 20th anniversary as we approach the release of the update in May.

In Forza Motorsport, car damage is reproduced down to the individual scratches on the bodywork. There are all-new simulation details in the directionality of damage, how the paint peels away at exposed and raised edges, in the wheel abrasions, and in the dirt build-up. Car damage is a racing reality and has been authentically captured in the new Forza Motorsport.

The all-new Forza Motorsport is the most technically advanced racing game ever made.

Forza Motorsport is available for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
