A new adventure from the creators of the Danganronpa and Zero Escape series!

Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling itself SIREI appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!

The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a colossal school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. Initiated students transform their blood into the mysterious Hemoanima, a unique type of mutated blood which provides supernatural abilities. XSEED Games announced the start of digital pre-orders for the title on Nintendo Switch, available in a standard edition for $59.99 and a Digital Deluxe edition including a copy of the game, digital art book, and digital soundtrack for $69.99.

All digital pre-orders will include a digital copy of The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- Novel “Former Lives of the SDU: File 03 - Hiruko Shizuhara's First Battle,” which details character Hiruko Shizuhara’s life in the Tokyo Residential Complex before the events of the game.

Additionally, a demo of The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- will be available on the Nintendo Switch system soon.

This “Prologue” demo will allow players to experience the first seven days at Last Defense Academy. Demo progress can then be transferred to the full game on release.

The limited edition includes a copy of the game on Nintendo Switch, an art book featuring work from fan-favorite artists Rui Komatsuzaki and Shimadoriru, a CD soundtrack with 10 songs from the game’s original score, an acrylic diorama featuring the main cast, a metal Last Defense Academy pin, a lenticular art card, a printed copy of an original The Hundred Line short novel, and 15 character art cards.

The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is coming to PC (Steam) on April 23, 2024, followed by Nintendo Switch in April 24th.
