Endure a desolate post-apocalyptic world with arctic temperatures, unspeakable horrors, and one life-sustaining locomotive powered by the impressive Eden Engine. Scavenge underground dungeons and crumbling ruins across the tundra while braving forces both natural and unnatural, slaying horrifying abominations known as Revenants in intense FPS battles. 

Collect vital resources, but stray from the train for too long and risk succumbing to the icy environment and its cursed inhabitants. The train is not just transportation, it is a home base, a moving fortress, and the one thing standing between you and a cold death. Only the lucky souls get to continue the treacherous journey. 

Craft essential parts to upgrade the convoy and create new tools, weapons, and equipment. Band together with other survivors in 4-person online co-op for a greater chance against the harsh landscapes, ravenous opponents, and towering bosses.

Through the frost, death follows the tracks.

Frostrail will be available through Steam Early Access in 2026 and will remain so for about one year.

While we plan to add more content and improvements, the current version is designed to offer an engaging and enjoyable experience from the start. Players can expect a balanced and stable game, ready to be explored and enjoyed.”

“While the core mechanics and structure of Frostrail are already in place, we plan to improve the overall experience by adding more content and features, as well as polishing, balancing, and bug fixing. For the full version, our goal is to increase the depth and complexity of the game's content to create a richer and more compelling experience at launch, with new additions such as:

• More content: biomes to steam through, unique locations to discover, dungeons to loot...
• More progression: varied loot, crafting new items and weapons, upgrading your train...
• New situations: refining how players are positioned in unique and precarious scenarios to create unforgettable moments, especially in co-op.

These planned additions and their progress will be shared with the community through the various roadmaps we will publish over time.”
