Wildgate combines action-packed emergent gameplay with explosive spaceship combat for a galactically fresh take on the multiplayer genre.

Evade deadly environmental hazards, search for powerful weapons and ship upgrades, and be the first crew to escape with the Artifact... or the last crew left flying.

In Wildgate, players (called “Prospectors”) team up in small crews to venture into a hostile, unpredictable, and mysterious region of space in search of an ancient relic known as the Artifact. While in pursuit of the Artifact, players work together to pilot their spacecraft, plunder wreckage, and discover forgotten loot. To win, crews must successfully reach the exit point with the Artifact or go for a domination victory by destroying all rival ships by whatever means necessary.

Dreamhaven and development studio Moonshot Games kicked off the free community preview playtest for Wildgate.

The first Community Preview playtest will run from April 10-14.

• START: Thusday, April 10 at 9:00am PDT (April 10 at 6:00pm CEST)
• END: Monday, April 14 at 5:00pm PDT (April 15 at 2:00am CEST)

Servers will remain available and playable 24/7; however, since Wildgate is still a work-in-progress, you may encounter bugs, crashes, and other connectivity issues while playing.

Signing up is easy: Simply visit our Wildgate sign-up page, enter and verify your email address, then answer a few short questions. Once you've completed the sign up process, you're all set!

Selected participants will receive an invite via email on April 10, shortly before the playtest begins, along with instructions on how to claim a key through our playtest dashboard.

Participants may claim one (1) playtest key on their preferred platform. Once a playtest key has been claimed, they will also receive one (1) invite code to share with a friend or family member.

Please note that receiving an invite email or invite code is only the first step! In order to be assigned a key, you will need to complete our registration process and select a platform. Since we have a limited number of keys for each platform, they will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. If keys are longer available on a specific platform, it will be grayed out.

• Outgun or Outrun: The Artifact is the most valuable object in the known universe. Be the first to find it, snatch it, and pass through the exit point, or destroy the ships of every other crew and be the last crew standing.

Wildgate is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) in 2025.
