Led by Kevin Stephens (Monolith Productions), Cliffhanger Games brought together accomplished talent with leaders from the critically acclaimed and innovative action-adventure game, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, along with veterans of top franchises including Halo Infinite, God of War, Call of Duty and others.  

However, none of this mattered as EA Entertainment president Laura Miele sent out a memo to employees (revealed by IGN) that the game has been canceled and Cliffhanger Games is being shut down.
