A new generation of players and loyal fans alike can experience the origin story of the famed BIG BOSS, and witness how his legend was forged in the crucible of Operation Snake Eater. The remake will star the original English and Japanese voice characters, rich storyline and expansive features of combat survival in harsh environments evolved with unprecedented graphics and immersive sound.

In the middle of the Cold War, Naked Snake, the man who would later be known as Big Boss, infiltrates the Soviet Union to escort a defecting scientist, Sokolov. However, the mission ends in failure when Snake's mentor—The Boss, a soldier known as the mother of special forces—betrays him, and Sokolov is captured by Colonel Volgin of the GRU.

Producers Noriaki Okamura and Yuji Korekado revealed more information about the Snake Vs. Monkey and Snake Vs. Bomberman game modes coming to METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER.

The latter brings a new in-house collaboration with the Bomberman franchise delivering a bombastic experience by introducing gameplay mechanics from the Bomberman series to the Xbox Series X|S version of the game.

FOX HUNT Director Yu Sahara gave viewers a concept of the brand-new online multiplayer mode, character renders and early gameplay footage.

FOX HUNT, a completely original mode, broadens the franchise’s core stealth element where players must utilize their environments to camouflage and evade opposing players. More details will be announced later.
