Age Of Wonders 4 is the first sequel in nine years for the Age of Wonders fantasy strategy game series, bringing new levels of customization and replayability to the games’ iconic empire-building, role-playing, and best-in-class tactical combat.

Paradox Interactive announced that Archon Prophecy, the new expansion for Age Of Wonders 4, will launch August 12, 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S at $24.99/£20.99/€24.99.

 Archon Prophecy includes the new Architects culture, allowing players to construct vast, magical monuments within their cities, new forms, new narrative content, two new story realms, and much more. Players who own Expansion Pass 2 for Age of Wonders 4 will receive Archon Prophecy as part of their purchase at no extra cost when the expansion launches. 

Launching alongside Archon Prophecy on August 12, all Age of Wonders 4 players will also receive the free Griffon Update, introducing new features such as Extra Faction data, New Form traits - Flaws, and Hero Class Updates.
