Originally planned for July 8th, LandShark Games announced that Grifford Academy will be coming to Steam Early Access on PC/Steam on June 25, 2025.

Today LandShark has announced that its 'lite academia' RPG, Grifford Academy, will be launching two weeks ahead of schedule, releasing into Early Access on June 25. 

When we first set our July timeline, it was because we weren't sure if we able to hit the original date so we gave ourselves a buffer just in case. We came to the realization that the new date would've landed in the Steam Summer Sale, not exactly the ideal time for indie games like ours to launch. With so many discounted games competing for attention, it wasn't the ideal time for a launch title.

This shift gives Grifford Academy a better chance to find its audience during a key discovery window, and we’re confident it’s ready for players to experience. The past few weeks have been full of polish, feedback, and final touches—and we truly can’t wait to share it with you.

“The Early Access version of Grifford Academy is planned to include all story content, allowing players to experience the full narrative experience and core gameplay. During this period, we plan to refine the game by addressing bugs, improving balance, enhancing mechanics and polishing the overall experience. We also plan to test the viability of select ideas arising from player feedback, but only in cases where we believe they will significantly improve the players' experience. Our goal is for the 1.0 release to be as polished, engaging and immersive as possible.”
