Developer Barrel Smash Studios announced that the demo for Oceaneers will be launching on PC (Steam) on September 25, 2025.

The Oceaneers demo invites players to embark on the opening chapter of their survival adventure, offering a taste of both the gameplay and story that await in the full release. Begin the journey with low-tier technology, research new advancements, send expeditions into the starting region of the world map, and create custom characters with a selection of limited traits and backgrounds. With over two hours of replayable content, the demo not only showcases a range of full-game features but also introduces the narrative and objectives that players can expect in the game's Early Access launch in 2026.
