Conducting trains and combos through such extreme situations takes practice and precision; Denshattack!’s refreshingly unconventional ride dares you to drift on walls, clear massive chasms and push the limits of your ride for absolutely sick boss fights. In a world where a climate catastrophe has rendered the rich untouchable via their air-purifying domes, the rest are left to survive in the undomed wastelands of a derelict Japan. A rebellious movement known as Denshattack has reclaimed this wasteland for its own and rebuilt the broken-down sections of the abandoned legacy railroad tracks. Now, a colorful variety of underground gangs vie in territory duels. Meanwhile, the domed cities remain oblivious to the outside world, connected by a hypersonic vacuum-tube transport network called VACTRAIN, created by megacorporation Miraido, which now controls much of daily life in the country.
Laying the tracks with Undercoders for Denshattack! is game director David Jaumandreu (Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound) with slick beats from lead composer Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania, Sonic Frontiers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge) - more guest composers are planned for announcement soon from an all-star lineup of talented musicians this fall, in collaboration with acclaimed video game music label Kid Katana.
Fans can listen to “Densha ni notte ne! ~電車に乗ってね!~”, the new single by Tee Lopes featured in the trailer.
Create a trick style that is unique to you in Denshattack! by mastering tricks your way, and reap the rewards of your rebellious nature by gaining upgrades as you become the best of the best across all of Japan. This is extreme train action at the highest level imaginable.
"Creating the world of Denshattack! has been a joy for the team," said Jaumandreu. "Inspired by the art, culture and music of Japan, and, of course, our love of trains and skateboarding, Denshattack! is a project we've wanted to make for a long time, and we can't wait for the world to experience what we've been building."
Denshattack! is coming to PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S and PS5 in Spring 2026, including day one on Game Pass.
