inZOI is a life simulation game where the player can alter any aspect of their world to create unique stories and experiences. Just like in the real world, you can find jobs to make a living while forming deep relationships through interactions. With a complete community simulation of every character acting on their free will, you can experience unexpected events to feel the various emotions life has to offer. With inZOI, we hope to share the message that "life itself is the true gift, and every journey has its own meaning."

inZOI provides a variety of creative tools, so that players can visualize the life they've always dreamed of. Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game's realistic graphics allows the players to let their imagination run free, with easy creation of different resources. Customize your character's appearance and outfit and build your custom home using a wide selection of freely-movable furniture and structures. You can also adjust different parts of your property and surrounding roads as well as aspects of your residing city for a fully customizable experience.

Currently available through Steam Early Access, KRAFTON announced it’s launching Island Getaway, the first downloadable content (DLC) for inZOI, on August 20.

The DLC will be available globally and free of charge, coinciding with the start of gamescom 2025. On the same day, KRAFTON will also release the Mac version of inZOI, available via the App Store and Steam.

ISLAND GETAWAY KEY HIGHLIGHTS

• New Map: Cahaya – A Southeast Asian Island Escape: Inspired by the tropics of Southeast Asia, Cahaya will introduce a vibrant new setting that blends natural beauty with laid-back city living. Players will be able to explore both a main island and a resort island, enjoying activities like swimming, boating, and snorkeling — all while customizing their Zois with tropical-themed outfits, hairstyles, and decor.
• New Life Sim Features Across All Maps: The free DLC will add lifestyle-driven gameplay such as farming, mining, gem crafting, and fishing, along with new rideable vehicles including motorcycles and electric scooters.
• Enhanced Character Interactions: New systems like random gatherings, thought bubbles, and cooperative actions will allow players to create richer stories and emergent moments between Zois.
• System & Quality of Life Updates:
  • UI/UX improvements for smoother gameplay
  • Early gamepad support (testing phase)
  • Over 90 new music tracks to expand the in-game soundscape

GLOBAL ROLLOUT AT GAMESCOM

To support the launch, KRAFTON will be attending gamescom 2025 (Aug. 20–24) in Cologne, Germany.

• A new trailer will debut during gamescom: Opening Night Live on August 19
• Attendees will be able to play Island Getaway hands-on at KRAFTON’s booth
• Additional community promotions will include in-game events, influencer challenges, and a dedicated DLC hub

INZOI@CAHAYA COMMUNITY LIVESTREAM

More details on inZOI and the upcoming Island Getaway DLC will be shared during inZOI@Cahaya, a community-focused livestream airing on August 14 at 6:00 PM PT via the official inZOI YouTube and Twitch channels. The stream will feature never-before-seen content from the DLC, along with developer commentary from the inZOI team on its gameplay features and creative direction. Fans are also encouraged to submit questions about the DLC via the official inZOI Discord for a chance to have them answered live during the broadcast.

INZOI TO LAUNCH ON MAC

inZOI for Mac, which will also launch on Aug. 20, can be preordered via the Mac App Store and Steam. Optimized for Apple silicon, inZOI on Mac takes full advantage of Metal – software that powers hardware-accelerated graphics on Apple platforms – resulting in smooth and responsive gameplay with high frame rates and stunning visuals. The game supports MetalFX Upscaling, hardware-accelerated ray tracing on Apple’s M3 and M4 family of chips, and HDR. System requirements are Apple Silicon Mac configurations with the M2 chip or later and 16GB or more of unified memory.
