'Town To City' Is A Creative City Builder, Available On Steam Early Access - Trailer

Set in a charming 19th-century world, Town To City is a cozy and creative city builder that lets players create and customize their dream town from scratch.

In Town To City players can place every building, road, and garden exactly where they want, and shape a community that’s truly their own. Town To City lets players play through the story campaign or relax in sandbox mode, building at their own pace whether that means carefully arranging every detail or growing their economy into a thriving city.

Break free of the grid in Town To City: a cosy city builder that invites you to create a beautiful and bustling community. Freely place houses, shops, and amenities and natural elements to delight your residents and encourage new families to move in. As your population grows, so can your ambitions: create multiple towns that can grow alone or thrive together, helping the whole region develop and prosper.

In the campaign or sandbox mode, you're free to build at your own pace, placing each flower bed with pixel precision or prioritising growing your economy and developing your town into a thriving city.

Truly grid-less building sets you free to lay out your town however you like. Plan out carefully-ordered rows of houses and city districts, or grow outwards organically with residences, amenities, parks and plazas connected by winding streets and alleys.

Beautify your settlement to your heart's content with a plethora of customisation options. Set up lighting, plant flowers and wooded parks, and decorate houses and buildings to complement or contrast. With gorgeous voxel graphics as a base, it's easy to create something beautiful you'll want to capture with the in-game photo mode.

As your town flourishes, you’ll need to meet the needs of your growing population. Provide amenities that will cater for everyone – from farmers and workers to artisans and the bourgeoisie – alongside specific requests by individual residents. Get to know each person as they arrive in town and watch them settle down to form new families in the homes you built for them.

Assign workers to jobs, research new buildings and decorations, and boost your sleepy settlement into a bustling center of commerce. As you expand beyond the bounds of your first town, you'll pursue new developments in farming and tourism by building new towns, all connected by trade and travel routes.


Town To City is now available through Steam Early Access, and will remain so for around 6-8 months

Town To City’s Early Access version offers a wealth of content for players to dive into, including:

  • A story-driven campaign with two maps
  • Sandbox mode with five maps
  • Eight city stages and six monuments
  • Over 30 quests to complete

To celebrate the launch, a brand new trailer has been released, offering players a detailed look at the game’s vibrant towns, complete with quaint shopfronts, bustling plazas, and cheerful citizens. The trailer also highlights core gameplay features such as population happiness and economic growth, which evolve organically as players add new amenities to their expanding towns.
