Microsoft Will Increase Prices On Xbox Consoles In October

Beginning on October 3, Microsoft will update the recommended retailer pricing for Xbox Series X|S consoles in the United States due to changes in the macroeconomic environment.

For the 2nd time this year, Microsoft will update recommended retailer pricing for Xbox Series S and X consoles.

Pricing for controllers and headsets will remain the same.

Pricing for products in all other markets will remain the same.

"We understand that these changes are challenging, and they were made with careful consideration. Looking ahead, we continue to focus on offering more ways to play more games across any screen and providing value for Xbox players. "

New Pricing

  • Xbox Series S 512GB - $380 -> $400
  • Xbox Series S 1TB - $430 -> $450
  • Xbox Series X Digital - $550 -> $600
  • Xbox Series X - $600 - > $650
  • Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition - $730 -> $800

Pricing in countries outside the U.S. remains the same. Local pricing may differ by country to reflect exchange rates and other market conditions.
