'Project Motor Racing' Reveals Online Multiplayer Details, New Cars, Tracks And More - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Sept. 24, 2025 @ 10:25 a.m. PDT

Project Motor Racing is a racing simulator that ignites all the passion, beauty and intensity of professional motorsport.

Project Motor Racing will hit the track in fall 2025 with 70+ vehicles from 10 racing classes and 27 track layouts

From today’s radical LMDh hypercars to iconic legends from motorsport’s rich legacy, each car is meticulously recreated and licensed from the world’s top car manufacturers like Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Audi.

Each class has been curated to ensure definitive grids of motor racing heroes from today and yesterday, from LMP to turn-of-the-century GTs, from today’s GT3s to 1970s sportscars. With action packed 4-class racing across 27 scanned, global tracks, Project Motor Racing is a motorsport-first simulation.

From sim racers to first-time racers, Project Motor Racing boasts game modes for everyone: from Single Player Career Mode to in-depth Online Racing, from fun leaderboards to packed Full Race Weekends

An immersive racing experience will put drivers into the cauldron of a racing cockpit with visible G forces, heat-haze, braking forces, and dirt, alongside sound design that captures motor racing’s true ferocity. “True2Track” will allow racers to experience the authenticity of every track with dynamic weather conditions, adaptive racing & drying line, and a 24-hour day/night cycle.

Project Motor Racing powers into Tokyo Game Show (TGS) with fresh metal on the grid, a new circuit, and a no-nonsense, full-service approach to online competition. Publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios also confirm six new brands, seven cars, plus the addition of Sebring International Raceway, and unveil a complete online racing ecosystem.

At TGS, attendees can also go hands-on with the racing-sim from September 25-28.

Online Racing, Built For Racers “No passes. No rentals. No subscriptions,” says Ian Bell, CEO of S4. “PMR gives you full online racing on day one, right out of the box — built for drivers who value clean, hard competition over complicated paywalls and qualification hurdles.” Next to a challenging “survival”-style single player career, multiplayer competitors can look forward to:

  • Cross-Play Monthly Championships: With weekly track rotation and scheduled race times.
  • 2 Leaderboards Modes: Chase real-world lap times in Factory Driver Challenges, and long-distance Endurance Hall Events to mimic legendary real-world races.
  • Custom Lobbies “just like in the old days”: Host your own races, including cars, tracks, rules. No fees, no rentals, just fun.
  • Social Races: 15-minute casual events perfect for newcomers, or a quick fix for veterans who enjoy diverse playlists with track rotations and trial combos.
  • Ranked Racing: Structured championships with matchmaking, divisions, and per-class ranked grids

No subscription, native Ranked Racing defines multiplayer racing in PMR. Drivers begin their online career with a License Test at Lime Rock Park to set a fair baseline. From there, a 0-100 Driver Rating (per-class ratings, without ELO inflation) powers matchmaking and skill-based grids, while cross-platform championships unite PC and console players to keep races full, fun, and competitive. With the above multiplayer trailer, the online ecosystem is demonstrated in detail.

More Brands, Heavy-Hitters & Historic Asphalt

From grassroots spec series to factory GT classes and prototype icons, PMR adds depth across eras and disciplines. At TGS, the sim welcomes new marque partners — Acura, Chevrolet, Mazda, Mercedes-AMG, Nissan, and Toyota — expanding a 70-car roster that stretches from the era-defining Mazda 787B (the first Japanese overall winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 1991) to today’s thrilling GT3/GT4 contenders.

  • Acura: 2022 Acura NSX GT3 Evo 22
  • Chevrolet: 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R
  • Mazda: 2017 Mazda MX-5 Spec, 1991 Mazda 787B
  • Mercedes-AMG: 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT3
  • Nissan: 2023 Nissan Z GT4
  • Toyota: 2023 Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo

Sebring International Raceway, one of the oldest continuously operated race tracks in the U.S., is the latest circuit to join Project Motor Racing’s track lineup, bringing its famously demanding surface, long straights, and technical sectors to the game’s expanding, global locations.

Project Motor Racing will also feature sim racing’s newest physics engine, built from the ground up. Running on the GIANTS game engine, it delivers unmatched handling realism at 720Hz, with more natural, non-linear throttle control alongside precise FFB taken directly from the tie rod, and out-of-the-box peripheral optimisation.

And with the “Factory Driver Program”, every car’s handling is painstakingly tested and approved by the world’s top racing pros to assure authentic handling precision.

Pre-orders are available now on selected channels – including the bonus GTE Decade Pack that features 7 extreme examples of high-performance cars racing in one of the most thrilling and competitive classes in GT racing history.

Project Motor Racing is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 25, 2025.
