To survive in the wasteland, humans must unite in groups. With coldblooded research nuts, honest yet simple civilians, violent lunatics, optimistic dreamers and lone wolves, factions are formed. Among these factions, five attract the most attention: Rosetta, Blackfell, Vulture, Guerilla, and Mayfly.

Plant, animal and human infected by Stardust will transform into disfigured monsters called Aberrant. Once polluted by Stardust, the host will be swept along to join the evolution route of Stardust while the winner becomes an advanced organism and the failed ones decay to dust. In early state, Aberrants may not be too aggressive, but as time goes, they will be driven wholly by the desire to evolve and show their cruel nature.

NetEase Games and Pocketpair have announced a crossover between their two franchises, as the  Pals from Palworld will show up in the world of Once Human on October 30, 2025.

Beloved Pals from Palworld, including Cattiva, Chillet, and Chillet Ignis, will arrive in the mysterious world of Once Human. That's not all—mystery Pals will show up on the event-exclusive island, bringing more interactive fun and excitement.

This collaboration features an event-exclusive island map that's full of surprises and perfectly combines distinctive features from both Once Human and Palworld. Here, players will delve into Palworld-style environments and marvel at a unique ecosystem where Meta-Humans, Deviations, and Pals live in coexistence. Deviants and Deviations, such as the bus-like Wanderer and Chefosaurus Rex, will interact with Pals in fascinating ways, offering players a totally unique experience.

Once Human At Tokyo Game Show 2025 & New Scenario Will Launch Late October

Those who are attending Tokyo Game Show 2025 can experience the world of Once Human up close, as the game will be featured at the event from September 25-28. The Once Human area can be found in Hall 08-C03.

The Once Human booth will feature cosplayers decked out in gear from the game, who are available for taking photos with attendees. Additionally, players can visit the booth and take part in special events to win swag that they can take home. 

Additionally, Once Human has announced that the early access for the new Scenario, “Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve,” launches today, with the official launch taking place on October 30.

The Visional Wheel Lunar Revelry Begins Today

The Lunar Revelry Visional Wheel update has begun. In Lunar Revelry, under the Blood Moon anomaly, Meta-Humans will be subjected to the Moonlight's Gaze. When this gaze accumulates to a certain level, the fearsome Lord of Moonlight will manifest as a Meta-Human, summoning Lunarspawn to protect itself, steal the player's identity, and escape. The Meta-Human who loses their identity will enter a "Lunarspawn Transformation" state, losing shadow, appearance, name, and other identity markers.

The Lord of Moonlight’s theft kicks off a cat-and-mouse game, where the player must hunt down their doppelganger and slay them to reclaim their identity, earning valuable rewards in the process.

Trial Of Misfortune Event Brings Co-Op Gameplay On A Massive Scale

The Trial of the Misfortune global co-operative event begins September 29. During the Trial of Misfortune, Meta-Humans must work together to defeat the Lord of Moonlight and seize its treasure. The Lord of Moonlight has divided the continent into “Conquest Zones,” and players within them have to team up to face it. 

Those who slay the Lord of Moonlught will earn “Moonlight Essence,” which can be spent to earn Conquest Zone Points. During the Trial of Misfortune, there will be seven rounds of head-to-head trial matches between Conquest Zones, with players able to influence the powers of nearby Lords of Moonlight. 

When players submit Moonlight Essence, they can choose “Moonlight Trials” for other Conquest Zones, which alter the abilities of the Lord of Moonlight they face. These are six types of Moonlight Trials, and the more Moonlight Essence used will make their effects even stronger. The three most selected by players will affect an opposing Conquest Zone, potentially making things easier or harder for other Meta-Humans. 

Each round of the trials lasts one week, and the Conquest Zone that has earned the most points during this period earns a Victory Point. This great conflict will unite Meta-Humans across the world, as they combine their skills in each Conquest Zone and fight to topple the mighty Lord of Moonlight beneath the light of the Blood Moon.

That’s not all that’s coming to Once Human, as new weapons, suits, and item mods are also on the way, as are 13 new Morphed Deviations to collect. Once Human’s combat-focused spin-off, RaidZone, is also optimizing and improving its airdrop system and weapon system.

Currently available for Android, iOS, and PC (Steam), Once Human is coming to PS5 and Xbox Seires X|S in 2026.
