Square Enix and PlatinumGames announced that NieR: Automata has sold 10 million copies to date, promising "To Be Continued."
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… has sold 2 million copies. It depicts the origin story that shaped the world of NieR:Automata. The protagonist is a kind-hearted boy living in a remote village. To save his sister Yona, who has fallen ill with the incurable disease known as the Black Hide Disease, he sets out on a journey with the mysterious talking book, the White Book, to find the Sealed Words, his only hope.
NieR:Automata and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… are available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam and Windows. NieR:Automata is additionally available for Nintendo Switch.
