NVIDIA Adds DLSS 4 With Multi Frame Generation To Nioh 3, Sea of Remnants Closed Alpha, Vampires: Bloodlord Rising And More

by Rainier on Feb. 5, 2026 @ 6:00 a.m. PST

This week, Nioh 3 and Vampires: Bloodlord Rising feature DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, and Carmageddon: Rogue Shift and Nightmare Frontier feature DLSS Super Resolution.

We also sat down with three developers from Painkiller RTX to explore the process behind remastering the game, and how they’re using RTX tech to modernize assets at scale. By upscaling thousands of legacy textures into high-quality Physically Based Rendering (PBR) materials—a process that would have traditionally taken years—the team removed the friction of repetitive work, and set a new standard for how small teams can balance massive visual ambition with limited resources by integrating generative AI. You can read the full interview here.

Here’s a closer look at the new and upcoming games integrating RTX technologies:

  • Nioh 3: KOEI TECMO’s Nioh 3 is the latest installment in the dark samurai action RPG series, telling the tale of a young warrior poised to become the next Shogun inside Japan’s historically turbulent Sengoku period. The game launches Feb. 6, but already gamers can start playing by downloading the Nioh 3 demo, in which progression transfers seamlessly to the full game upon release. And in both the demo and full game, GeForce RTX players can multiply performance using DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation.
  • Sea of Remnants Closed Alpha: NetEase Games and Joker Studio invite players into the visually captivating world of Sea of Remnants, where they assume the role of a puppet-like sailor who has lost all their memory of the past. Throughout this sprawling journey, players can recruit a crew of unique puppetfolk allies, customize their ships with modular upgrades, and assemble specialized teams for exploration and turn-based battles. From February 5th to the 12th, Sea of Remnants will host a PC Closed Alpha Test, the “Wanderer Test,” offering select players an early hands-on experience featuring path tracing and DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. Sea of Remnants’ release will be later this year.

  • Vampires: Bloodlord Rising: In Vampires: Bloodlord Rising, Mehuman Games and Toplitz Productions' dark, open-world adventure, you awaken as a Vampire Lord. Since the game entered Early Access late last week, players can start building up their castle, hunting for blood, commanding their servants, and more. GeForce RTX players can maximize frame rates using DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. And NVIDIA app users can upgrade DLSS Super Resolution to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution.
  • Carmageddon: Rogue Shift: 34BigThings' Carmageddon: Rogue Shift resurrects the classic action-racing franchise as a roguelite that lets players enter as one of countless racers, equipped with little more than a rust bucket, scavenged fuel, and a makeshift weapon. GeForce RTX gamers racing in Carmageddon: Rogue Shift can accelerate frame rates and enhance image quality with DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA when the game launches Feb. 6. And via the NVIDIA app, you can upgrade both to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution
  • Nightmare Frontier: Welcome to Ice Code Games’ Nightmare Frontier, a first Tactical Extraction Looter where you pit your courage and leadership against fears made manifest: the Dreadweavers. GeForce RTX gamers battling for survival in the Early Access Nightmare Frontier can now accelerate frame rates and enhance image quality with DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA. And via the NVIDIA app, you can upgrade both to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution.

Finally, join us at GDC to explore how NVIDIA RTX neural rendering and AI are defining the next era of gaming. John Spitzer, Vice President, will share a glimpse into the future of game development during his exclusive session, and unveil innovations in path tracing and generative AI workflows. Meanwhile, Bryan Catanzaro, VP Applied Deep Learning Research will be participating in an interactive "Ask Me Anything" on the latest AI trends.
