Amazon's God of War TV Series Adds Actors Louis Cunningham, Ben Chapple, Evelyn Miller and Island Austin As Sif and Thor's Children

It is a new beginning for Kratos. Living as a man, outside the shadow of the gods, he seeks solitude in the unfamiliar lands of Norse mythology. With new purpose and his son at his side, Kratos must fight for survival as powerful forces threaten to disrupt the new life he has created.

His vengeance against the Gods of Olympus years behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the realm of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive… And teach his son to do the same.

This startling reimagining of God of War deconstructs the core elements that defined the series—satisfying combat; breathtaking scale; and a powerful narrative—and fuses them anew.

Kratos is a father again. As mentor and protector to Atreus, a son determined to earn his respect, he is forced to deal with and control the rage that has long defined him while out in a very dangerous world with his son.

Following actor Ryan Hurst, known for Opie Winston in Sons of Anarchy, signing on to play Kratos, Max Parker as HeimdallÓlafur Darri Ólafsson as ThorHomeland's Mandy Patinkin as Odin, Alastair Duncan as Mimir, Jeff Gulka as Sindri, and Danny Woodburn as dwarven blacksmith Brok, Callum Vinson As Kratos' Son Atreus, Ed Skrein as Baldur, it is now up to Louis Cunningham, Ben Chapple, Evelyn Miller and Island Austin join the cast of Prime Video’s God of War.

Louis Cunningham (Marie Antoinette) has signed on as a series regular to play Modi in Prime Video’s God of War from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.

Sif and Thor’s middle child, Modi has a gentle disposition and an obsessive, almost insatiably curious mind. He loves puzzles and complex problems—to such an extent that he often gets lost within them and forgets everything else around him.

Louis Cunningham is a young London based actor. He stars as ‘Louis XVI’ in two seasons of the Canal + series Marie Antoinette which is broadcast on BBC1 and PBS. The second season aired on BBC1 in 2025. Alongside his screen work Louis has founded a theatre company and develops work for stage. He starred in The Party at the Hope Theatre in London directed by Max Mackay.

Ben Chapple (Good Cop Bad Cop, Playing for Keeps) has signed on to recur as Magni in Prime Video’s God of War from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.

Sif and Thor’s eldest son. Handsome and adventurous, Magni is an excellent hunter and natural ladies’ man, but the life of an immortal playboy has begun to feel hollow and Magni is yearning for a greater purpose. He is extremely protective of his younger brother, Modi.

Ben Chapple is an Australian actor whose recent screen credits include Good Cop Bad Cop for The CW and Stan, and Playing for Keeps for Paramount and Network Ten. His theatre work includes Ode to Isaiah Walsh, Instructions for Correct Assembly, and Things I Know to be True. He is a graduate of Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

Evelyn Miller (Foundation, The Lovers) has signed on to recur as Gna in Prime Video’s God of War from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.

Gna is Odin’s Valkyrie commander. A fierce warrior, she is devoted to her duty with a loyalty to Odin that borders on fanatical. Highly disciplined and uncompromising, she is dedicated to serving the realm, occasionally at the expense of her own wellbeing.

Evelyn Miller is a British actress who has an impressive list of theatre credits that include starring opposite James McAvoy as ‘Roxanne’ in Jamie Lloyd’s production of Cyrano De Bergerac which launched to critical acclaim both in the West End and New York. Further credits include Patriots (Noel Coward, West End) directed by Rupert Goold; Twelfth Night (Regents Park Open Air) directed by Owen Horsley; Midsummer Night’s Dream (Sheffield Crucible) directed by Rob Hastie; Twelfth Night, The Comedy of Errors, Pericles (Shakespeare’s Globe) directed by Brendan O’Hea; Deep Night, Dark Night (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse) directed by Isobel Marr; Jane Eyre (National Theatre) directed by Sally Cookson, Richard II, Henry IV Part I, Henry IV PART II, Henry V (Royal Shakespeare Company, Barbican, Brooklyn Academy of Music) directed by Gregory Doran, The Famous Victories of Henry V (Royal Shakespeare Company) directed by Owen Horsley, Swallows and Amazons (Bristol Old Vic) directed by Tom Morris and The Little Prince at the Royal Opera House. Television credits include, Foundation (Apple TV), Gangs of London S3 (Sky), Doctor Who (Disney+), The Lovers (Sky) alongside Johnny Flynn, Holby City (BBC) and Flowers in the Attic - The Origin (A*E Studio’s / CBS).

Island Austin (Insidious 6, I Can Only Imagine 2) has signed on as a series regular to play Thrud in Prime Video’s God of War from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.

Sif and Thor’s youngest child, Thrud is precocious, inquisitive, curious, and fearless, with a natural yearning for knowledge. She’s gentle and kind, and often acts as a peace-maker with the rest of her troubled family. Her grandfather, Odin, sees seeds of greatness in Thrud (mostly because she reminds him of himself) and the two have a special bond.

Island Austin is quickly becoming one to watch in the entertainment industry. Soon after booking her first major role in the feature I Can Only Imagine 2, she landed the highly sought after co-lead in Insidious 6 from Blumhouse. Additional credits include the independent features Entity and Kill Him ‘Til He’s Dead. When she’s not acting, Island enjoys gymnastics, fencing, classical piano, snowboarding, singing and dancing. She also loves to spend time studying her favorite subjects of History, Geology and STEM.

From the marble and columns of ornate Olympus to the gritty forests, mountains, and caves of Pre-Viking Norse lore, this is a distinctly new realm with its own pantheon of creatures, monsters, and gods. With an added emphasis on discovery and exploration, the world will draw players in to explore every inch of God of War’s breathtakingly threatening landscape—by far the largest in the franchise.

With an over the shoulder free camera that brings the player closer to the action than ever before, fights in God of War mirror the pantheon of Norse creatures Kratos will face: grand, gritty, and grueling. A new main weapon and new abilities retain the defining spirit of God of War while presenting a vision of violent conflict that forges new ground in the genre.
