Just in time to celebrate Tolkien Reading Day, Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on March 25, 2026, joining its current availability on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).

For Hobbits who already own the title on Nintendo Switch, the Switch 2 version will be available at no extra cost for existing owners via a free Upgrade Pack.
