Crown Of Greed introduces an indirect control system, where NPCs and Heroes operate with freewill and advanced AI. Instead of issuing direct commands, you’ll influence their decisions through incentives, contracts, or even bribes. This innovative mechanic creates a challenging yet rewarding management experience.
Each playthrough is unique, thanks to randomized hero traits. You might recruit a powerful warrior who excels at fighting undead but is also lazy, making them less reliable in battles. These traits require players to adapt their strategies, balancing strengths and weaknesses to succeed.
Campaign Content at Launch
Version 1.00 will feature 12 story-driven campaign missions, each comparable in length to the demo mission, with several scenarios offering significantly longer gameplay experiences.
Throughout the campaign, players will encounter multiple side objectives that add depth and variety to each scenario. Some missions can be completed in numerous different ways, often influencing how events unfold and shaping the outcome of a given situation. The campaign is designed with replayability in mind, offering a non-linear and multi-dimensional experience rather than a straightforward, one-time playthrough.

Meta Progression and Kingdom Development
- Gain access to a large kingdom progression panel

Completing scenarios on one of three difficulty levels grants progression points. These points are used to expand your kingdom. The system encourages replaying missions and completing the campaign on the highest difficulty over time.

Hero Traits System
Every recruited hero enters the kingdom with a set of randomly generated traits that shape their strengths and weaknesses. These traits can be both positive and negative, influencing how they perform in different situations and adding unpredictability to their development. Some heroes may gain increased effectiveness against undead, making them invaluable in certain encounters, while others might struggle with flaws such as alcoholism, causing them to occasionally fall asleep during patrols.
Such characteristics make each hero feel distinct and require players to adapt their strategies accordingly. No two recruits are exactly alike, which adds depth and variety to every campaign. Life in Rodovia is not easy, even for heroes, and their personal quirks often become as impactful as their combat abilities.
Spells and Hero Headquarters
