Goat Simulator 3 is a direct sequel to Goat Simulator, a silly game that started life as an April Fool’s joke born out of a game jam.

Goat Simulator 3 builds on everything fans of the first game loved, raising the baa to brand new heights (sometimes literally), starting an all-new adventure, once again featuring Pilgor the goat. This time she’s found new pastures on the sprawling sandbox island of San Angora, a place where mysteries and chaos follow wherever you go. Players are free to roam around and discover the island’s secrets or, well, just destroy stuff. This is a Goat Simulator, after all. 

Built from the gravel up, this next generation of goat simulation has it all; Goats, goats wearing hats, goats riding a goat wearing a hat. There are also unnatural disasters, secret animal societies, triple jumping and probably any other nonsense you could think up. But truly, what is all this exciting newness without friends to explore it with? In Goat Simulator 3, you can gather as a herd of up to 4 friends to be the goats of your dreams, together. Yes, Goat Simulator 3 has online multiplayer!  

Much like the original Goat Simulator, the sequel’s gameplay revolves around exploration, puzzle solving and “accidentally” destroying anything in sight - but this time there is so much more of it all. Blast NPCs with alien weapons, start wacky minigames anywhere in the sandbox (keep reading), become a “rhino” and stampede through town (sentence is soon over), join a secret goat society and help them achieve their goals, (hold that breath) drive a car straight into a gas station (what’s up with goats and gas stations anyway?), and so much more! The world truly is your oyster* (puh, you made it!). 

But everyone knows you can’t destroy the world if you don’t look good. In Goat Simulator 3, there are so many fashionable items to get your hooves on. If you want to roam around wearing a pink tutu, a giant blonde wig and with paint tins for shoes, who are we to stop you? It differentiates you from that one friend who’s dressed like a medieval knight shooting lasers from their eyes, and the other that’s cosplaying a giant abominable banana (aka Abominana), after all.

Today, Coffee Stain North presented ‘Goat Direct 2026’, a showcase of exciting announcements for the year ahead from the Goat Simulator franchise.

From a future-inspired gear pack to a new collaboration, the presentation featured a range of riveting reveals, alongside news on the Nintendo Switch 2 launch, the return of ‘A Goat’ in Fortnite, Amazon Luna updates, and more. Full details on the individual announcements are outlined below.

Buck to the Future – Gear Pack

Great Scott! Goat Simulator 3’s latest gear pack has arrived from the year 3000, bringing galvanising goat gears and futuristic fashion to San Angora.

‘Buck to the Future’ features 22 new gears as well as a RoboCock goat skin for players to wreak havoc with. Mess with gravity, gigantify NPCs, cause shenanigans with the latest portal-spawning technology, and more, all while rocking the most stylish otherworldly outfits.

Pilgor’s 12th Birthday – Community Challenge Winners Announced

To celebrate the 12th anniversary of Goat Simulator and Pilgor’s birthday, Coffee Stain North ran a birthday card community art challenge on Discord, with three winners revealed during the showcase, and each winning one of last year’s exclusive Goat Simulator x YouTooz plushies.

Goat Simulator 3 on Nintendo Switch 2 – Out now!

Goat Simulator 3 is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, alongside all DLCs available separately, including the Multiverse of Nonsense, Baadlands: Furry Road, and all existing gear packs! Step into the hooves of Pilgor once more and embark on a sandbox adventure, either solo or with a friend, terrorising the NPCs of San Angora with licks, kicks, headbutts and more. As well as featuring both local and online co-op, Goat Simulator 3 supports GameShare on Nintendo Switch 2, allowing players to share the game with friends and family via local wireless connection – even if they don't own a copy.

Goat Simulator x WHAT THE CAR?

Get ready for the collaboration of the century as the car from WHAT THE CAR? arrives in Goat Simulator+ on Apple Arcade! Not only that, but Pilgor herself is bringing caprine chaos to WHAT THE CAR? on Apple Arcade, too, as she arrives in the game as a playable character. Both characters will be available as part of limited-time events from April 30th until May 27th, so don’t miss out!

Return of ‘A Goat’ Outfit in Fortnite

The iconic Goat Simulator ‘A Goat’ Outfit has returned to the Fortnite Shop once more, and is available until April 3rd!
