by Rainier on Jan. 1, 2006 @ 1:30 a.m. PST

In Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked!, players will find themselves stranded on a mysterious island filled with lush forests, ancient ruins, and an active volcano. With the help of trusty pets and new friends, players can explore the mysteries of the island to find a way home, or make a new life for themselves and stay forever. Vibrant 3D graphics make the island environment, weather systems, and various items more life-like than ever. An island tutorial with a greater focus on exploration enhances the accessibility for new players.

Taking full advantage of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls, Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked! allows players to realistically practice survival tasks, with more than 40 mini-games including fishing, carpentry, fire-making and other all-new cooperative games. Dependable pets provide players with an added entertainment feature by playing music or dancing throughout the game.

"Building upon the success of the previous Lost in Blue DS titles, we wanted to give fans an extended experience in the first console version of the series," said Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "Bringing the series to Wii will ensure fans receive the most exciting, immersive survival adventure game to date."

Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked! is scheduled to launch for Wii in Fall 2008.
