Dustin Chadwell: I need this game. NEED. I'm currently re-addicted to MMOs thanks to Star Wars: The Old Republic, but if there's any game that will tear me away from that, it'll be Diablo III. I hopped on the Diablo II gravy train a bit late in its cycle, but even after playing a number of quality loot-grinding, action-adventure RPGs like Titan Quest and Torchlight, Diablo II still blows those titles out of the water in overall design. Naturally, the only game that I feel has a chance at topping it is its successor. It's a shame that it was recently pushed back again, but I have a strong feeling this one will be worth the wait.
Chris "Atom" DeAngelus: Explaining why I'm excited about Diablo III on the Internet is like explaining why water is wet. The name alone is enough to let people know exactly what awaits them. While Torchlight and its ilk have manage to scratch the Diablo itch, it's been 12 years since we've gotten a new game in one of the most addicting franchises on the market. Diablo III is looking like a perfectly worthy successor to the last game, and that's really all that needs to be said. After all, it's Diablo.
Tony "OUberLord" Mitera: I have a lot of mixed feelings about the upcoming release. On the one hand, it's a new entry in an awesome line of titles, but the beta seemed to be a bit "dumbed down" in comparison to the previous games. Of course, the beta was extremely limited, so you really can't say how it'll pan out. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing the game, not necessarily out of excitement but more a mix of hope and worry about whether the series will be discernable in the new outing.
