Dustin Chadwell: I enjoy the heck out of the Dynasty Warriors series from Tecmo Koei and developer Omega Force, so combining that with The Legend of Zelda is right up my alley. More than anything else, I'm really curious to see how the roster shakes out for playable characters, but I'm also hoping that this joint venture from Nintendo and Tecmo Koei tosses in a few new mechanics to freshen up the series. This might not be the Zelda for Wii U that everyone was hoping for, but it'll certainly go down as an interesting, unexpected game that has the potential to be a lot of fun.

Chris DeAngelus: The Legend of Zelda meets Dynasty Warriors? It's such a crazy idea that it's hard not to be curious about it. Everyone's favorite green-clad elf is tearing through hordes of Moblins and monsters with classic Zelda items like the boomerang and Flame Rod. It's something nobody ever expected to see, but it sure looks interesting. Considering the Dynasty Warriors franchise is always packed to the gills with ideas and content, it should be interesting to see how Hyrule Warriors fares.

Jason Grant: The Legend of Zelda goes Dynasty Warriors style! As someone who's more for straightforward action and less for wandering world maps, I couldn't be happier. Give us local co-op and the ability to play as at least one of the princesses, and I'm all in.

Erik "NekoIncardine" Ottosen: Nintendo knows how to surprise, and by working with Tecmo-Koei, it's created a new surprise in the form of the Wii U-exclusive addition to the Musou/Warriors franchise. Hyrule Warriors is the first new Zelda title for the Wii U, but it's exceptionally nontraditional in that it has Link slaying enemies by the hundreds in the Warriors franchise's signature style. The fan interest is high, and the title provides significant potential for the latest entry in the long-running series.
